Ok, feat selection and equipment is done. Just a question on languages. Are you using the standard options there or are there any adjustments that need to be made?

The only languages that will come into play NPC-wise would be Kaidanese and Abyssal(Jigoku dialect). However, for simplicity (since this is a one-shot) We can just consider common and Kaidanese to be the same. I realize that some of the characters from other parts of the world would not normally speak the local language here, but having pcs that can't talk to each other would make for an added complexity that I don't think would add to the enjoyment of the game all that much.

Yup, I was just waiting 'til the holiday was over. I just need to get tealcisgod to finish his character, but he hasn't checked in with me yet. I'll pm him again. Either way, I'll try and post the introduction sometime tonight.

For recognizing Zariel as a tiefling, her only clearly non-human traits are her red eyes and the tail she disguises as a belt. The red eyes would only arouse suspicions, while the tail would confirm it. I would like you to make a Know. (Arcana) check (DC 15) first to see if you would know enough on the subject to realize that she is a tiefling, and then a spot check (DC 10) to notice the tail. If Zariel did more than just wrap the tail around her waist to try and hide it, then the spot check would be opposed by a disguise check by Zariel.

Well guys, I hate to do this, for several reasons, but tealcisgod hasn't been on site for nearly two weeks and hasn't been responsive for even longer than that, so I have to assume he has abandoned the game. I will be dropping him and bringing in one of the other players that wasn't initially chosen, so look for an update about that. Also, since Draco hasn't chosen to respond about the tail, go ahead and make the DC 10 spot check and we'll get the ball rolling again on this.

Yeah, Lanaya was eying you suspiciously. Did you have a way to hide it other than just wrapping it around your waist?

Not really, although a bluff check would likely help. lol
