sorry, just an over reaction on my part - like i said we've had some players who would argue over ANYTHING, so i'm probably a little more sensitive than i should be
as for being 1st level and seeing a red dragon - i'd play my character as not really knowing what a dragon looks like rather than saying 'oh look, a red dragon - hide/kill/what's it doing?'

Nonlethal damage: the -4 attack penalty is way to intimidating.

I'm trying not to force the pace. Seems like everyone is posting well and I don't have any need to push faster. If I leave a space for 'voluntary' posting, and a player doesn't want to use it, that's ok. That's what voluntary means.
So, with the possibility of a couple more posts, I'll wait another day or so to actually 'read' the will.

I probably should have asked when I invited everyone, is every other day or every third day too much to ask for a posting rate? At least, for the time between a 'question' and a reply, or a request for a response/reaction and that resultant post?
I don't want to skip anyone, but I also don't want to wait past a reasonable time. Seems to me even with a 'twice a week' rate that's about 3 days thereabouts. Your thoughts? I know trying to get a round of combat can be agonizing if we try to go stricktly in initiative order. So in that regard I'll always put the bad guys in ONE initiative, so y'all can go in a block, so to speak. It will then fall to me to sort it out if someone's action prevents or invalidates someone elses action. I can't see waiting three days between each person... that's the AGONIZING part!

i try to check in at least once every day - sometimes that ends up being 1/2 days; usually a couple/day though
so whatever is fine with me

No problem. Daily, every other day as Tatget are good. I work a lot on the weekends and therefore like to be up to date before they start. If i am the only one holding the game up email me and ill fit it in regardless.

I'm good with whatever, I usually check in daily, except on the weekends, those are usually pretty busy for me, so I might not post until Monday.

I'll work on a Key for the map of the city.
I'm not great with graphics, a downside, to be sure, so many of the maps you see will have indicators you will need to keep player knowledge away from the characters.

and speking of which - as a player i have ideas of what we should do, but looking at my character, not so sure he'd suggest any of it

once you've all closed out the evening after the Funeral, the story will continue in the new thread "investigations"
