Yeah, sure. If I'm being honest, I picked this AP for several reasons, but probably the biggest is that you can make nearly anything into a pirate. I mean you definitely have to actively want to be a pirate and do piratey things to get the most out of the AP, but beyond that the chargen is your oyster. Also you should read the players guide cause campaign traits.
