Apologies for the delay! I had a busy week or so with work but I am ready to bring all the goblin fury* Graak can manage!
*Disclaimer: Graak has absolutely no goblin fury to contribute to this without a weapon. He will be as much a liability as anything else, but he will be a frantic one!

Howdy pm! I started a new job so I've been delayed, too, but I should be catching everything up tonight.

Swashbuckler's are somewhat difficult to use in PbP due to their reactionary combat nature, but I hope what I wrote down is clear enough. If you need me to roll anything more for my actions, then I can do that. Note - I thought I could parry all I like, but I forgot that it used up my AoO for the round, so only take the first parry attempt roll.

I think I can work this in a way that won't waste your abilties. I may have to theater of the mind a bit, but it won't be to any of my players' detriment.

I didn't think to ask before her attack but could Lyneth somehow use her claws as a finesse weapon? That might get rid of the -1 to attack...

She could, definitely. Natural attacks are finesseable and Elephant in the Room removes the Weapon Finesse feat tax. I'll take it into account when I'm updating.

I hit an 18 on my last attack so it wasn't a big deal. Thanks! Giving her the dex bonus will be much more useful in the future!

Annoucement: As I've whined about elsewhere, life is kicking my ass. Thank you all for your understanding. To help set expectations for you guys, I'm committing to a once-per-week posting rate. This should be on Mondays. I'm going to try everything in my power to summon up the muster to make these posting dates. Once things settle down and my current challenges are overcome, I hope to get back to more frequent posting.
Additionally: I realize that my inconsistency can easily break interest in even the most engaging game. If you are no longer interested in playing, for any reason, please let me know privately. Do not feel obligated to me or other players to continue in a game you're not enjoying.

Because I am too old to not just tell the truth and be damned...
I typically enjoy a much faster paced game than once per week. However... the more I play here, the more I have discovered that what I really want is consistency. If you post three times in three days, I love that. But, if the game then goes a week without a post, and then two posts in a day, and then two weeks without... I can't stay in character. I can't hang with that. However, if you can post every monday, then I can learn to post on monday or tuesday, and then... wait. I know when you'll be back, I know I can put this on the back burner for a bit, and check again on Monday. I think, honestly, I can be cool with that. It's the consistency I think I crave, knowing that the game is alive, it is moving, even if the pace isn't rapid. Much better than always wondering if that was the last post by the GM or so, ever. You take care of Real Life, and I'll see you here every week. My two cents. Your mileage may vary. batteries not included.

Thanks Dirk. I feel like consistency is probably the key for most people, because wasting a lot of time on stuff other people don't bother to read is a real downer. So I'm committed to Mondays. Whatever happens in the future, however, I won't ghost.

I don't mind the slower pace, though I agree that consistency is awesome. Once a week works for me and I can do the same thing as Dirk - check in every Monday (probably Tuesday for me) and take the time over the next few days to post up a response I like, or get super inspired and write up a bangin' post then and there.

Well at least Lyneth's performance was average and not horrible.

And I'll let you know, the DC to be effective for a performance check in this situation is pretty high, even for someone trained in Perform.
