He seems to be telling you the truth. He repeats to you that he remembers nothing before being subdued in a struggle at what he was later told was the University. He recalls nothing before that, nor why he was even there.

His earliest memory is when he was being grappled to the ground by half a dozen police at the University.

OOC: Have we "registered with the court clerks as volunteer defenders for the Beast" yet? Is that what we were given just before coming down to visit Ken?

Chemistry is unsure what else to ask. It does not appear good, as even if Ken is being honest, if he can't remember what happened before he was caught, there is not much they can do to defend him. "I suppose if we go over the list of specific charges, one by one, and talk to the witnesses, we might come up with something. Either something to address each charge, or some kind of pattern that might tell us something we don't currently know."

Chemistry turns to the attorney (what's his name, by the way) and tells him she'll be back in less than a minute, mere seconds. She goes to step out of the room, and casts Detect Magic (making sure nobody is looking). Then she comes back in and studies Ken with her vision opened to magical auras.

Chemistry looks at the others, then at Ken. "We'll do what we can. If you recall anything more, ask the guards to get your lawyer, Mr. Kaple here."
