I saw your comment about the game with three tiers, I was part of that game. It was a great concept, but DM bit off way more than they could chew, ended pretty quickly.

Yeah, I applied, but I guess I was a bit late. Didn't know you were a part of that game, but I did see that it totally died, assumed that was the cause. It did seem like a pretty big undertaking, hence why I said so long as it's not Pen trying to do too much, I am fine if he adds more folk. I want this game to survive.

The game you're referring to... it wouldn't happen to be Politics, Poison, and Polearms, would it? If so, I can assure you that the game is indeed still running, albeit with a smaller number of people than were originally recruited.

Well I was thinking more of an established business, big enough that I can be useful to people who want to use/help me, but not directly powerful in the sense of you district rulers. It would also give you district rulers a clandestine way to get various things done without having to expose your secrets to other district rulers, I could even act as a third party in various arrangements.

I would rely on your graces to work, essentially. If you decided to root my enterprises out of your city I wouldn't be able to muster enough soldiers to defend myself (Perhaps some mercenaries to hunt you and your friends though? ), but then you would lose the benefit of me being so nice and helpful

Don't mind you adding more non-rulers so long as it doesn't tax you so much that it slows/kills gaming for us since we had to fight 7 other people for our spots as it is. Lol

Because my role would be mostly reactionary to what you guys are doing I don't think it would slow the game, its not like Pen would have to handle a whole new set of rules and players either, because I would be the only person like me. I would just fit into the nation rules I would guess.

My thoughts also Yuul. I would want to seek out others to help if I did expand any further. Unfortunately none of you would be eligible as current players, even though you all have great writing chops, an excellent handle on system mechanics, and dedication to the setting.

So this weekend will be Halloween. I will be busy Friday night, but I don't have plans for Saturday... well other than finishing up Kingmaker finances and making rulings on militaries >.<

I will try and get you a post tomorrow.
