Don't worry, I'm still here, just had a bit of a run in with life. Still recovering, but I'll be much more consistent in the future, I promise.
Well, I figured I'd come out and share Sarah's "order of least hate" among the other houses 1. Cthuun is one of the most vile creatures of all time, a creature infamous for it's cruelty and lack of empathy, of which no good species ever came from. Their every spoken word is a lie structured to put them in a better position over those they deal with, and who's ultimate goal is to lord over all those below them, siphoning off them like a multi limbed leech. Creatures such as him exist only as targets for smite evil, and his very existence is an affront to nature. There is nothing worse than him, for he is a banker. Oh, also he's an aberration-spawn. Cthuun 2. Sarah does not trust wizards at all. A cruel king can be stripped of his kingdom, a dangerous warrior can have his weapons taken away, and a rogue cleric can no longer count on his god's favor, but a rogue wizard can only be stopped by putting an arrow through his skull. And with all the potent spells afforded to such a being, that is not always an easy task, and they will always inflict great suffering in the time it takes for them to be taken down. It's nothing personal, but she just views arcane magic as a whole as dangerous and difficult to control. And for a paladin of Abadar, control is very important. Malachi 3. While nice enough, Garrick only ever seems to have one emotion-mildly amused. Completely unflappable and stone faced, Sarah gets the impression of speaking with a golem with him, incapable of displaying any emotion. As such, it's incredibly difficult to get a read on him, and Sarah does not trust him.Garrick 4. As the only other female on the council, that earns Marie points early. Additionally, while just as polite as Garrick, she isn't quite as... artificial. Even if her emotions are faked, the fact that she displays a wider scope of them makes her seem more human than Garrick. Though there are rumors of her being a pirate, there are also rumors that Sarah killed her own husband to take over the house. Such rumors are simply spread by detractors or naysayers looking to cause an incident, and she refuses to listen to any rumor that she hasn't any proof of herself.Marie 5. Though they may not always agree on matters of belief, Sarah perceives Quinn as a genuinely good person, a rarity among the council. Though a bit suspicious of most druids due to their general distaste for civilization, Quinn's order seems to be an exception, a radical among druids, but radical in civilization's favor, and thus she sees the druids less as druids and more as nature clerics. A small distinction, but an important one to Sarah.Quinn 6. Sarah greatly respects the older man, both for his generosity and his openness. With her husband dead and her father disgraced (and also dead), she often looks towards him as a potential male influence for her son, though she sadly realizes that, given his age, he'll likely be dead or bedridden by the time little Adam comes to age.Carradyn

Still here, thought that last post a few days ago sounded final. And excellent! The next phase to begin. Sometime later today or tomorrow(as I have family from out of state visiting and thus running slower) I will get a better organized listing of holdings and military power written up in my private thread after I get a last post up in the meeting thread.

I will claim victory in the guess who Sarah hates competition. I only switched Malachi's and Garrick's ranking.

You know when I saw Darth Charon's post, I thought it was just another player putting down their guesses in my hurry to get out the door, now I see they are truly the answers. Still a bit surprised to see Carradyn at the most liked spot, but I suppose he is our kingdom's "Mr. Rogers" after all.

Was going to post earlier. But things have been hectic and I haven't been sleeping well. Hopefully after the holiday weekend things will get back to normal.

Yeah, he is a hard worker, Darth. Was going to say, in some degree of fairness, he rules over likely the largest port, market, and Naval Fleet in the Kingdom and they run very nicely. Also 2/3 of the islands possibly have the lowest crime rate in the Kingdom as well. It's just that third one that's a bit rowdy. Hah
Sarah would be wealthy/powerful enough to stay on the Northern island, which has an immaculately kept grass, walkways, roads, a real nice park, etc. Granted, I suppose there is the point that courtesans/prostitutes are a pretty flourishing and relatively respected trade in his district. So yeah, she probably wouldn't be happy with that.

Sunday is the day of movement for me. I have some overtime to do this weekend, so I am sleeping early tonight and busy tomorrow.
I like the end of the meeting. I will have the king shut the door on Sunday and open some doors to your solo threads. Sjsilver are you still around?

Think we held out as long as necessary for SjSilver. I am moving on with the game. Sj's character will NPC for now. It is unfortunate but you will lose all benefits of the bank branches.
I am spending the rest of the night doing the finances of the rest of you and then I will post your private adventures tonight and tomorrow.

You can have them back, unless he shows up in the next week or so. This is relatively early in the game. I have just had a lot of issues pop up in real life so it has been a bit slow going. It should be better now (knock on wood) and I have finished the finances
![]() I am going to put up personal stories through out tomorrow as I get time.
