[Characters] Character Discussion/Voting Thread

Here is where players (in character) can gain extra xp. by having character discussions geared toward important decisions the party must make. Also, small talk that could've accured at some point in the story that wasn't posted do to how play-by-post runs. Do to real-time, we tend to get to the action and important player/NPC dialogue but we minimize player talk for the flow of the game. You can post all that here! This thread is NOT an OOC and is only for players of Isles of Terror: Return of The StarWhisperer. Post as if IN CHARACTER!

"Unless any of you have complaints against it, I can purchase the ship with the funds that I was given for just this purpose. The rest of you could either pay me back at a later date or not at all." Instead of paying right away like she would have preferred, Nerra waited a few minutes for anyone to argue.

"Oi'd pay paht meself, Oi jes wanna make sure Oi 'ave enuff te make any repaihs on tha Starwhisperer." Thamuz said, looking a bit upset.

Nanaki listens and realizes the sale is over. Not knowing what they will need for sailing she speaks up, "Capt'n, I be best to stay with ship, I think."

"Stay wif tha ship in wha way?" He asks, an eyebrow raised.

Nanaki shrugs, "Unless you think I be better going with you, I stay and make sure no one messes with the ship while you all are gone getting supplies."

"I have minimal gold. The merchants were less then generous for my plunder. I can pay a portion on my gold. It would be helpful if I could go acquire some more. Did anyone notice if there was any jobs posted around town? If not I suppose that I could go find one." Alias shrugged and waited for an answer.

"Alroit. Nerra, if ye pay fer tha ship, Ahl take care a gettin' a crew tegetha, an' Ahl make sure yer quartahs on me ship ah te yer likin'." Thamuz says, a wink to the Ka' Shan woman that will be his nurse. "An' if Vessi allows it, Ahl puhsonally take care of any needs ye may 'ave... in tha bedroom."

"Sounds like it's decided. I'll be paying for the schooner." Nerra was about to indicate that the merchant should lead the way to his office so she could pay him before she paused. "I insist upon having the final say on who boards this ship as crew. That being said, once I'm done paying for our new vessel, I'll be heading to the sushi place over there. Shandar, you can either stay with the new woman or you can come with me."

Turning to the merchant, she nodded that he should lead the way so she could pay him. As a last thought occurred to her, Nerra glanced over her shoulder. "Oh, and Captain, I'll hold you to the quarters once we get your ship back, plus I get choice on the schooner."

"Ye kan 'old me te tha otha offa too. Oi am some what ov a God in tha bedroom." He gives her a look, a look every woman knows.

Thamuz's comment made Nerra pause and face him. Thankfully, she was far enough from him that she couldn't actually see his face, just hear his voice, though that was enough to tell her what he hinted at. "You're not my type. I prefer someone who's a little more lithe and usually... feline-like. Besides, I don't screw with crew."

 

I'm not even sure what would be rolled against that. Hopefully the above post works to counter it.
