Elric
The brothers attempt fails and results in the loss of Elric's left leg and Alphonse's entire body. In a desperate effort to save his brother, Elric sacrifices his right arm to affix Alphonse's soul to a summoned creature. Upon affixing the soul to the creature Elric discovered that he had regained his arm and leg that was lost. However, they were his brothers not his own. He could tell from a distinct scar on his new right arm. Elric was raised by a foster family and honed the skills and lessons he gained from that day. He is determined to do good in an effort to atone for his crimes against nature. He is extremely idealistic, and strongly believes in the concept of equivalent exchange, which states that every outcome requires an equal payment. Elric also behaves in a childish manner when confronted about his short height, tending to overreact to any negative comment regarding the subject usually flashing daze on people before running off to sulk. |
