Wow, looking over the rolled ability stats, you guys really nailed them, very cool. At least the Paladin will be protected surrounded by extremely capable allies.

I'm pretty well satisfied with my arrangement. As always I wish I had more skill points, but that's no one's fault but the Fighter class.

Alright, one more question to run by the DM, will mounts be a help or hindrance in this campaign, by that I mean will it be at all useful, or left tied up somewhere?

Yeah I certainly can't complain about my stat rolls, without a doubt the *best* I have had, combat wise.

I'm not big on mounts in my campaigns. Generally, they fall into the latter category. Their use justifies quicker arrival at well traveled destinations, but in this campaign, you'll be traipsing around in less travel venues. I'd be ready to leave your mounts tied to a post, if you bring them.

To be honest, I don't care for them either and if I can find away out of having one that would benefit my character in some way, I will!

Don't paladins have a choice between a mount and a weapon? I seem to recall reading about that at some point...

Thanks for the link Amos.
I'll be traveling mid march as well, 9th through the 16th I think. I may or may not be able to post, I'm not sure. If I am, I probably wont be able to spend much time on them.

Oh, a question for the DM. On my sheet, for crafting, I want to be able to choose general blacksmithing. Basically, for thematic purposes, I want to be able to make most everything. Sort of a Jack-of-all-Trades village blacksmith. Horseshoes, caltrops; knives for hunting, skinning, and whittling; nails, basic manacles, and simple weapons and armor (the sort of things that a village militia would wear.) I don't want to be able to craft masterwork mithril blades of legend here. The Order of Torag accepts small tithes in exchange for basic forge services to help the village out. Sort of in the way that monks in Germany make beer, because face it...you can't spend 24 hours a day praying and training. So could I take one 'general' craft skill to be able to craft these basic items, or should I take 1 rank each in every craft skill there is?

Would that be a profession maybe? Profession Blacksmith?
I think I have my character sheet done, unless I've made lots of mistakes.

I thought about profession, but everything in the SRD related to working with metal is a craft. According to Pathfinder, you use craft if there is a physical object created at the end. You use profession for being a librarian.

I can see that. Well, you could just take Craft:Ironwork or Blacksmith or something. I might limit it to non-weapons and armor though, as those are listed as separate crafts. I might say you can craft a working tool like a cleaver or saw, but lack the skill needed for a proper weapon. Caltrops, horseshoes, fire-pokers, hinges, iron pots, and the like would all be ok though. BUT I'm not the DM

While it is true that they are listed as seperate crafts, I'm not looking to make enchanted Dwarven waraxes. I would like to be able to make spears, daggers, sickles...most things on the simple weapons list.
