Is there a place where we're supposed to post all our character profiles? Last edited by Tarot Warrior; May 22nd, 2011 at 03:21 PM. |

@Still_Pond - I'll get it worked out expeditiously
@Tarot Warrior - thanks! Working on a character spot for you; a thread will be up today |

@Still_Pond - I'm going to rule that, yes, Augment Summoning will affect your Eidolon. I see no notes saying otherwise, and it specifically states in the Summoner class that the PC uses a summon spell to bring out the Eidolon.

Cool Beans!
![]() I can see my private thread now, but I don't see anything in the "Despicable - private threads" folder. (may not be anything in there yet, I'm not sure)

Great; I think Toad's mere influence made the threads start working. So, you should see a game thread, combat thread, dice roll thread, character thread, and your own private thread (in the Despicable - private threads folder...I didn't have the underscore in it...just fixed). Let me know if any of those don't work.

Some questions as this is my first time playing Pathfinder:
1. Do you get bonus languages for Int like 3.5 or only by putting skills into linguistics? 2. Witch hexes that do not state a number of times per day can be used as many times as I want? 3. How exactly do the spells work with a Witch and his familiar? Is the familiar like a spell book, or more like an item with spell storing? |

Unless the GM is using house rules...
1) Yes, you get bonus languages from Intelligence at character creation. 2) That's correct, they are unlimited... though if I recall correctly many of them limit the number of times they can be used on the same enemy. 3) Familiars are more like spell books.

So then how many spells do I get to put in it to start with. It says I can know any number of spells, would that mean that the Familiar can have any number of spells on/in her?

From what I understand, yes, your familiar can store as many spells as you can cram into it's little mind (unlimited). As for how many spells you start with, the PFSRD says:
"A witch’s familiar begins play storing all of the 0-level witch spells plus three 1stlevel spells of the witch’s choice. The witch also selects a number of additional 1st-level spells equal to her Intelligence modifier to store in her familiar. At each new witch level, she adds two new spells of any spell level or levels that she can cast (based on her new witch level) to her familiar. A witch can also add additional spells to her familiar through a special ritual (see sidebar)."You also get a few spells from your patron. You can also buy scrolls and add them to your total spell's known by your familiar.

Thanks Pilgrim and Still_Pond; indeed, these are correct. I'm not using any house rules that change these.

Okay, and one last thing, i think. Do you receive the bonus from Favored Class at first lvl?

Yes; if memory serves, it's either 1 HP or skill points.
