Yea, I think your role playing the elf fine. I seem to remember all elves absolutely hating dwarves(war of the beard). And I think wood elves hate Dark Elves(obviously), but wood elves also have a certain amount of disdain for High Elves. (and are ignorant to the fact, or refuse that wood elves descended from High Elves in the first place)

Yeah, I did a quick read on the wood elves, and we definitely do not like dwarfs because of the war of the beard. They also dislike high elves for leaving to go back to their island nation home (I can't remember what the name was) to deal with a civil war (Stupid dark elves!). But they are all on the side of good (high elves, dwarfs, and wood elves), against chaos.

I think I'll have to keep playing up the dislike for the overly-drunk dwarf a bit. But not too much.

Ollona has been more tolerent of dwarves then most elves "should" be, but in Ollona's defense, Groz isn't exactly a typical dwarf, what with his outlandish appearance and cheerful, outgoing, tolerant, and independent minded personality. The usual stereotypes against grumpy, straightlaced, mule-headed dwarves don't apply too much. This has also thrown Marcus for something of a loop, but in the opposite way.

Mind you, in Groz's defense, dwarven slayers aren't supposed to be typical dwarves. There seems to be a kind of buddhist-esq "release from the world = release from suffering" happiness to Groz's decision to abandon everything and commit suicide by battle, or at least that's how I'm reading him.

Yea basically because Groz has been a slayer for about 30 years (I will have his background up by tomorrow), he has basically given up being angry/solemn all the time and puts on a happy exterior. He lives his life one day at a time not really caring what people think. I basically did not want to play an emo dwarf lol so he has a personality more like Gimli. Also you haven't seen him rage yet and because Groz is more combat oriented much of what he thinks of all of you will come out when we are in battle together, that's when he will truly judge you .
