Ok, maybe I am misunderstanding your question. Just moving into range of a creature won't provoke an AoO. Ie if you move adjacent to a goblin or 1 square away from an ogre.

The problem with ogres is they threaten 2 squares so in order to get next to it, you need to move out of 1 threatened square to get to another.

I can tell you that the ogre is only going to get one attack of opportunity per round...

1) The mage mentioned in the text is Bosby. Maybe I wasn't clear enough.
2) No. I'm play-testing a rule that anyone who misses round 1 gets 2 turns in round 2. I thinks that is the source of your confusion.
3) Have a good time camping. Don't forget your tin opener and watch out for those bears!!
