In reality, this shouldn't happen for magic items. They each should get a save at like DC15 or so to survive a fire if they are metal.

Gold, Silver, and Bronze do not burn...they just become fluid and re-harden....that type of wealth should be recoverable from the castle with no problem...it would just be in bulk form and not "coin"

And not having a cleric...yeah.

Definitely agree on the potions/wands. As far as Vale stepping into a leader role, well, he kind of did that at times, like with coup de grace-ing the ogre. But the thing is, he's not very good at being in charge of others (Charisma is his dump stat) and he knows it. So he tends to stick more to being a good warrior than a leader unless he feels he has to step up. With the seniority of Leatherboots and Ironhelm being there with us at the end, and feeling like he wasn't even near being in the same league as the wizard/beholder, he was kind of taking a back seat and waiting to follow Leatherboot's/Ironhelm's lead.

Gorm will come up with a plan here and there, but he's no leader either. I guess we could be a true meritocracy

Hey, just thought I'd post this here, hope no one mind's the plug. I'm hoping to run a one-shot adventure during our break from First Quest. However, oddly, applications have been kind of low, although ShinobiMaster123 has submitted one. That would be great. The adventure has a static 5 character group, so the best 5 applications get in. Judging from how you played Zanriel, I have high expectations for you. No pressure though

Also I amended the rules to include any class/archetype that is obviously oriental (Not surprisingly, Shinobi really wanted to play a ninja ).
