Wow, does that make me a long time site member? I joined in 2010 as well. Though that was at the request of another member (whom I've been friends with for years outside of this site), whose game at the time never actually got up and running. I didn't really become active until I was almost ready to start running my aforementioned game last July.

I'm here, and the new world sounds good. I'm really good with anything that's thrown at us. And firstly, thanks for the rescue. I really enjoy the RP aspect, and agree with keeping that the big focus, though roll-play definitely has its place.
Bharash has been pretty active in the politics of the ship. I've been running a dichotomy (Trying at least), between stern and glib. Among the players, his closest relationship has been with Sarah (Darkshard), and he has interacted the least with Jaala (Kshnik). He has a decent relationship with the rest. He's also been active in charming the crew. He's protective of his friends, but until he trusts a person, he doesn't give a damn about them. The only person on the ship that he holds any real enmity towards is Fipps, though Bharash scared him pretty bad during the brawl. He is slow to commit to a path, unless there's a reasonable expectation for success, or a large reward. He's also somewhat dangerous, as given the Besmaran code, he'd be willing to betray anyone for the right reward. I think that's a good summary, though if you need any more info, feel free to ask.

Ok, heard from two... waiting to hear from two more.
What i do is even though everything is in a group thread i would also give every character a private thread of their own. that way if there is anything you want to keep completely secret from the group, that can happen as well. |

I did the same thing in my game, though alot of the private thread was simply discussion, I also did a bit of roleplaying with a few characters in them from time to time.

Hey Mirtos, long time no see. Not going to lie, my motivation towards paying attention to this thread disappeared long before the game died. I'm excited about losing the AP, since it was the AP that caused a lot of motivation issues on my part. I suppose that has a lot to do with the conflicts between the character I created and the flavor of the game. Having never read the AP I didn't realize how slow, plodding, and oppressive the campaign was. I read 'pirating' and I created a character who was looking to go rogue for the freedom that being a pirate was in comparison to naval or merchant service. Instead, Thomas had to endure something he'd actively sought to never have to deal with again. I suppose that it could have been positioned as good conflict for role playing, but then again, I just found it grating and irritating. So moving away from that and into an actual pirating campaign would be excellent.
Side note, I'm proud to say that I've had the same avatar the entire time I've been on the site, same with my signature. |

Glad to hear it. I have messaged the last person, because they were on yesterday afternoon, but didnt view/respond in the OOC. Possibly not reading the board right now.
I will send the message to the admins. If the last player says 'no', then I just wont do anything. |

ok, ive sent the message to the admins, it might take some time as the process is to normally request a new game and have the admins copy the threads over. We could move faster by having me create the new game as a folder under my current game (which might make sense). I will give the admins a couple of days to respond. if it takes them too much longer, i might go that route for expediency. we'd lose some of the posts in this game... im not sure if thats a major problem.
