Horgus Gwerm snorts when Garith instructs him to look for salvageables, but he hefts his bulk over to the rubble and makes a fair attempt at searching. "I don't see anything," he comments. "We should leave this place and start looking for a way out!" It seems that, despite the man's abrasive character, he has a point. With nothing else of interest in this area, you help the wounded along and make your way after Goron, the dwarf who has by now vanished into the darkness. Garith was happy to see Horgus helping search for anything they could salvage. After a quick search all that could be discovered were the items that Krogorim found. "Let us hope and pray that Terendelevs last act was not in vain, I suggest as Goron has already done we start on our way and find our way out of here."
Taking a deep breath Garith makes his way after Goron. "Keep your eyes on the lookout for anything though, those maggots may not be the only things down here." Taking heed from his own suggestion Garith Perception Dice Perception:

Rachel
When Krugorim reveals his discovery to be the silvery dragon scales, Rachel stares with wonder. Curiosity finally overcoming her silence, she asks in a hushed tone, "May I see those scales, please?"

The dwarf shuffled along in the darkness. He could hear the others rooting through the rocks and debris behind him. It wasn't a bad idea, but Goron wasn't certain what would have been above them that would both be useful and survived the fall without the aid of the silver dragon's magic. He stopped for a moment and looked behind him, catching the edge of the wizard's light around a corner. He didn't mind it down here, but he wished they would hurry up. The priest couldn't say with any certainty what manner of beast would be inhabiting this place, or how big a bug was required to create maggots the size they had just smashed....

Rachel examines the scales closely as your small group presses on in the darkness. After a few false starts you are able to get a good momentum going, even with the injured members of your party.
Though the darkness and general shock inhibit your alertness somewhat, Garith notices sounds coming from the cavern. Off to the left, quite close, you hear the sound of running water. More to the right and seeming farther off, you hear some scraping noises, like rock against rock. Neither sound appears to be getting closer. |

Garith motions for the group to stop.
I can hear running water in that direction,"indication to his left, "it could be a way to get back to the surface. also sounds of rock on rock possibly a cave in or something similar coming farther way over there. I suggest we check out the water first." Garith began heading to his left in the direction of the water. he did not look back hoping the others would follow. Rachel
Rachel pauses, her arm still holding onto Aravashnial's. She looks about and tries to listen carefully to the underground sounds, but her lack of experience in being in such dark, dismal places leaves her unable to discern anything of use. As Garant moves off towards the water, she gently guides Aravashnial in the correct direction. As needed, she occassionally renews her light spell so that the group is never without light.

Lendonna
Keeping an eye on Horgus, Lendonna is not catching the the sounds or sights she would had normally. But she knew babysitting a noble would add to the work as much as the others helping the truly wounded. 'Maybe the other can get over themselves to deal with him long enough so I can get some scouting in later.' She is thankful for Rachel's magic light, this would be a longer and slower trip without it. And watches closely as Rachel casts the spell. 'Seems simple enough, but that is just half of it' |

"Thank you," Aravashnial says brusquely as Rachel guides him along. "Your impressions of this place are most adequate. I have been playing back my recollections of the events on the surface, and I believe Kenabres is in terrible danger. The fiend I fought was a balor, a demon of immense power, and I can only imagine the struggles going on above. We must return as soon as possible."
A short time later you see the stone wall of the cavern loom up before you. A trickle of water runs down the wall face and collects in a shallow natural basin against the wall. A stone ledge juts out at a right angle fourteen feet above the pool. The leather strap of a backpack hangs a few inches off the ledge. |

Lendonna
"Think that pack may have something useful in it?" Asking more rhetorically. "I guess there is only one way to find out." She has scaled her share of walls on the surface but she knows this is different. But anything would be a treasure down here, and she wants to show she can do more than babysit the noble. Lendonna puts down her equipment and plans her path up the ledge. "If I fall I expect one of you gentlemen to catch me.", with a wink. She then begins to climb Dice climb:

Garith sheathed his weapon and strapped his shield upon his back, hoping the climb of Lendonna would be successful and he would not need to catch her should she fall he got into position should he be needed.
