"Damn you. I'm a man you Morons." The elf hisses his voice, clearly masculine as his blade is drawn swiftly he takes a posture for battle, ice crystals form on the blackened blade in his hand the black metal seeming to pulse with arcane power as if alive. "And I won't let you lay a hand on them."
Striking like a moment of time made crystaline the elf darts forward striking once with his blade then coming around a ray of frost is launched point blank into the same man's face to put him down, and a final backswing with the sword just in case the other attacks didn't finish him.

Battle outside the park:
Kohana casts her spell and the men before you groan in pain as shiny shards of what could be glass or ice hit them. The man with the large earings and short hair moves forward and strikes Kohana with a flail. Kohana takes 5 damage. Linath slashes with his sword hitting the man who struck Kohana. He swings again and misses but he casts his spell and the man with earring's body becomes nearly entombed in frost. The frost vaporizes but the man has a bluish cast to him. The man weezes and drops. The short man who looked angry before , and is more so now, advances on Linath. Damn witches. He swings his shortsword at the elf and misses. A fourth man sneaks out from behind a willow tree behind the party, clearly they were going to ambush the trio, and strikes Nerra in the back with his dagger. Nerra takes 11 damage. Nerra just in case, have spell checks included for future summons two Hell Hounds. The fierce monsters breath fire at the closest two attackers.I'll assume this doesn't hit your allies. The short man grunts in pain and curses. The blonde guy is singed but takes little damage. The blonde guy swings at a hellhound and the hellhound takes 8 damage .................Round Two Last edited by Demandred69; Oct 16th, 2013 at 11:50 AM. Reason: forgot blonde guy |

"Witch! Witch! Oh that's I'm going to show you the true meaning of fear and pain you piss ant bastards." With his eyes fixed on the last foe he darts in his blade flashing with a darkness and light, as the frost covered blade rings and then dives back in as he uses his foot work to put himself in alignment to avoid burning Nerra or the bard and he calls out his spell. "Salamander spirit of fire, hear my call, bring your wrath to my hand. For just a moment those gathered if they look might see the tiny elemental there perched above his hand as it breathes out a gout of flame ((Burning hands)).

These drunken fools were not to be deterred! And they were deadly-dangerous! But her companions were not exactly harmless either.
Kohana drew her crossbow and, with practiced aim, fired a bolt at the short man. |

Seeing Frosty so weak and helpless almost makes Cadriana cry at being unable to help herself. She whispers to him softly, "Dont' worry Frosty, I'm going to find someone to heal you." With her decision made she leaves the ship and takes off in the last known direction of Thamuz. Hopefully she would be able to find him and get a specialist healer in time before Frosty slips too far gone.

Cadriana :
Ferrez stops you as you're about to head of the ship. He insists you don't leave alone, as Port Prince is a dangerous place. You explain to him what's going on with the ice mephit and he frowns. Not likesly thess hass any ice here. Unlesses theres ice devil somewheresss. Port Steams hass ice . Lady Cadriana, take Razor and Vlix withs you if ye goes ashoress. You are determined to see if any help can be found here. The big Tigran , Razor, and the former headhunter, Vlix, follow you off ship. The two catfolk keep close to you at all times, snarling at anyone that get too close. Doesn't matter , lady, how strong you are. Port Prince no place er go alones, Vlix hisses. His common surprisingly good for a catfolk of any breed. The tall ka'shan keeping his right hand on the hilt of his falchion. Razor grunts and eyes the crowds of people with discomfort. You can tell cities make him edgy. The large curved great axe on his back the only thing giving him comfort. After walking in the general direction that Captain Thamuz went, you are now at a loss. He and William could be anywhere. You have the option to continue searching for Thamuz. But it would take incredible luck to find him, go into the city proper and try to find a wizard , trader, or alchemist that may have ice, seek out a healer that is familiar with mephits, try to find Nerra's group, or return to the ship and hope Thamuz returns with a crystal to power the ship and reach Port Steam in time. Nerra, Kohana, & Linath : With Linath's sword , Kohana's crossbow, and Nerra's hellhounds you dust of the bandits with ease. There are two of them still alive and both have lost any fight they had. The short man and the man with the earrings lay dead at your feet. No further wounds were taken. After searching the bodies the three of you find 130 gold, a pair of fancy earrings, and a rather sharp and well-crafted dagger. The leather and studded leather armors are in poor condition. ”Welcome to Port Prince,” Kohana muttered, flicking a stray chestnut strand from her eyes as looked about them at the results of their brief battle, before getting down to the task of having a closer look.
”Say, those earrings are rather nice,” she noted to the air in general, immediately attracted to the pretty shinies. The Bard looked from Nerra to Linath and back, trying to judge their interest in the baubles. They could probably sell them, but perhaps she could take them as her share of the spoils? Hmm, might suggest that! Kohana considered to herself. The finer things in life were a lure to her, and pretty jewelry was certainly included in that category. Moving to get a closer look, Kohana tried to estimate the value of the earrings, although the pain of her wounds were a bit of a distraction. |

"We can sort out who gets what later," Nerra said, snagging the dagger. She removed the dagger's sheath from its owner's belt and placed it on her own. "We should keep moving." Standing, she tucked the gold into her belt pouch. "The sooner we find the Demon Sword the better."

"Yes i think the sooner we are done here the better." he sighs looking down upon the human. He could now understand why his father refereed to them as silly creatures. If they didn't reproduce almost as fast as koblolds and goblins they would not to running so much of the world. Their faster reproduction allowed them to be silly and die in droves and their capabilities promoted them over the goblin and orc.

"I'm with you." Nerra stood. She resumed leading the three of them, using her vision as a guide. Never did her hand leave the hilt of her new dagger. I'll be so happy to get back to the Starwhisperer.

Cadriana gives Ferrez a nod of acknowledgement as she leaves the ship with Vix and Razor in tow. She leads them into town as she searches for magical shops and asking quietly around for anything that might heal the poor little mephite. Her nerves are on edge as she makes her way through the dangerous and large city knowing that time is of the essence.

Kohana followed as well, keeping alert to their surroundings. Too bad we don't have more to go on, she considered as they walked. The ship is looking more appealing by the moment, the Bard silently agreed with her companions' sentiments. She had been in some "interesting" places, but this port was particularly unappealing, even for a short visit.
