She was a few bites into her snapper when the tiefling showed up. "I was told to come here by the spirits and the Gods. It is not wise to mess with either. Please, let me talk with the Demon Sword. It is his decision to help me or not."

At the Treasure Box:
The tiefling woman narrows her eyes, What? Spirits? She shrugs and tries not to sound skeptical. What business do you have with The Demon Sword? He won't consent to anything unless he knows why you want him. |

Nerra rolled her eyes and looked at Kohana. "Why is it no one seems to believe that I can see and interact with spirits? Never mind. Don't answer that." She turned back to the tiefling. "Yes, spirits. There are several in the room and each is lulled by whatever enchantment that you've got going. As I have already said, I was told to come and find him by the Gods and spirits. Now, please tell the Demon Sword that an oracle is here."

At the Treasure Box:
I never said I doubted that you saw spirits, Kitty. I'd appreciate your patience here. She pauses, looking about the room. Don't seem to be any enchantments now. People have stopped offering up their wealth and livelihoods and are now back to normal, if that's a good thing. You might be an oracle and you might be smart, but you're not very informative. Once again, why are your Gods and these spirits asking you to find The Demon Sword? Without a good explanation, I doubt he'll offer you his time. This woman seems a bit difficult, but persistent. It's a fair question. The trouble is that....you're not sure why. You may have to come up with something creative. The girl glances at Linath again. There a reason he's staring at me? The room is no longer enchanted. Last edited by Demandred69; Nov 5th, 2013 at 10:00 PM. Reason: typo |

Nerra bit her lip. She knew she needed to tell the woman something or she would never get to talk to the Demon Sword. The problem was how much would could she safely tell her? "He gets like that around pretty girls. Normally he seems to stare at this one," she said in response to the woman's second question, pointing at Kohana. Running a hand through her short locks, she seemed to decide what to say. "Look, I just serve the Gods and deal with spirits. Well, most of the Gods. Don't typically get the nasty ones asking me to do stuff. Anyway, I was told I need his help with Their latest job for me and that not being able to complete said job could have dire consequences. Now, are you going to see if he'll talk with me or am I going to have to go upstairs and find him myself?" She was done dancing around for these people. All she wanted to do was get the help she'd come here for and return to the ship. If they continued to delay her much longer, Nerra knew she would snap.

"I myself am with the Ministery of Ancient Mysteries. I am hoping that The Demon Blade will help in this task. It will be tough but mn real problem is the nature of what we seek is rather a mystery lost in the fog of time. " Linath says in a warm and calm tone. His eyes on her and a charging smile on his lips.

Kohana knew too well about how people were inclined to jump to conclusions and categorize others, usually unkindly. "Prejudice…," she replied, and then suggested in a lighter tone, "And perhaps the kind of visitors they tend to see in this kind of port?" The latter was a possibility, of course, and might make the judgement feel less personal.
The Bard was uncharacteristically quiet, but it was Nerra’s show, and Kohana would let her handle it as she thought best. She gave her companion an understanding shrug of one shoulder, in response to Nerra’s rhetorical question. Then she noted the change in the room’s occupants with some interest, although she kept her expression neutral. Until Nerra pointed in her direction. Then she offered the Tiefling an amused bob of the eyebrows, suggesting that she enjoyed having Linath’s supposed attentions directed elsewhere for the moment. It was a sticky situation though, to be required to explain something one didn’t exactly understand oneself. "The Gods are rather well known for coming up short on detailed explanations," Kohana stated matter-of-factly. Sometimes the best story was the truth. |

The Treasure Box:
So they seem, the waitress gives Kohana a grim look. To Nerra. So the Gods told you to seek out the Demon Sword for whatever purpose and you believed him to be here. Which is perplexing but explains that it must be the Gods or some Devil that did in fact give you a vision. You see, no mortal has ever laid eyes on The Demon Sword. Well, and lived. She is about to continue when Natania approaches. Natania gives a sweet smile and apologizes for the interruption. Sorry. Just seeing how your meal is. To the red-haired tiefling, Lyssa, Lady Rhya is wondering why the customers have stopped ... giving tips. The red-haired girl, Lyssa, cringes. Um...tell the old hag I'm finishing business with some ... good clients. I just need a few more minutes. Natania shrugs then curtsy's toward your group. I'll bring you some pie. It will be on the house. Lyss, don't take long or Rhya will send in Nordvul. When asked about Nordvul, Lyssa simply states, You don't wanna know. She gives her full attention to Nerra, whom she sees as the leader. I admire your frankness Madam Oracle. You are not like our everyday clients. She pauses. That's a good thing. I must ask one more question as he'll want to know this before he meets with you. What is your destination? Last edited by Demandred69; Nov 7th, 2013 at 03:39 PM. |

Cadriana picks up the blue tin box and then waves Razor and Vlix over to look at the elixir. When the are both next to her she opens the box and looks it over trying to determine if the elixir is legit. "Well guys what do you think? Any of you have a way to tell if this thing is real?"

"Near as I can tell, we're heading for the Islands of the Sisters. May have to make one or two stops before that though." Nerra shrugged and continued to eat her fish.

At The Treasure Box:
Isles of the Sisters? Lyssa seems surprised. She bites her lip, drawing blood. Dangerous indeed. I'll go talk to him. Perhaps he will be interested after all. The girl gets called to again by Natania, who looks at a loss, but ignores her. Lyssa heads over to the stairs where a large man wearing black armor and a spiked color stops her. The two converse and he moves aside. She heads up stairs. You are eager to leave this establishment and city, but patiently wait. Not ten minutes later Lyssa returns. He says he is intrigued by your destination and spirits. He will meet with you on the morrow at Campton's Boat House, located on the south-west docks. If you've never been there, its in the poor fishermans' villa, near the old church. Campton has a sign by his shop depicting a swordfish spearing a shark. She gives each of you a parting glance and smiles half-heartedly. You do not have to pay for your meals. Now, I'm quite busy. Natania will take care of any further services you may require. She then spins and walks away hurriedly. Cadriana at the street urchins: Neither Vlix nor Razor seem to think much of the urchin's wares. Vlix informs you that peddlers like this man often tell false truths to get the unwary to buy their wares and then they move shop. It is up to whether you wish to trust the man or not. Either way, your sure the cure will be pricey. Thamuz at Judas's Hideout: Noi Noi. Clydus aina moi spoiy. He be yoi friend as was back in dar day. Jus he been woiking for moi, as oi tooks him in. An-a-woy, Oi have friends eva wares. But at n dar point. Oi could use yoi elp, Bruda. Oi know we ain been on dar up n up, but oi always loiks out for ya. You get the Artifact afore Hagis an gets it to moi and Oi award ye well. He gart ye girlfroind. Oi ashures ye. Judas puffs from his pipe. He pushes some of his long hair from his face. Oi can bring our family back togetha. Wid this artifact, Oi can make us powa full un rich. Un even erect a monomot in Papa's hona. |

Thamuz hated the whole situation. The King of Tharsis had wanted the Artifact, now Judas. It had to be something special and he was guessing that if he found it, he wouldn't need Judas's 'help'. But he had to play his cards right, and close to his chest. "Tell me 'bout this Ahti'fact. 'Ow do Oi foin it? Wha's it look loik? Wha's it do?" Thamuz took a drag. "Anythin' tha'll 'elp. Kan foin it if'n Oi dunno 'bout it. Seems ye 'ave a lot moah infamashun 'n Oi."

Nerra smiled. "Thank you. We'll find Campton's tomorrow." Once Lyssa left and before Natania returned for empty plates, she leaned forward. How to go about finding Campton's? I could always hope one of the others knows exactly where it's at and would be willing to guide us. Otherwise, I could see if a spirit would be willing to guide us there... "Unless you want to stay for dessert, we could try for the markets before returning to the ship. I'd like to find something less conspicuous than my glaive but more than daggers. Maybe a longsword or scimitar."

"Sure I'd be a fool not to escort you in this town." The elf says with a sigh and rubs his chin thinking. "And less of a man." Well the company was good here, and I did rather enjoy it be better do the right thing and get one more service before I go. No, down you; not that service. He flags down Natania as she is about to walk away and taking out a piece of paper and a charcoal pencil he looks at her with a smile. "Natania would you be a dear, I could use a map of say the docks to Campton's. Would you be able to draw such for me? I have such a terrible head for directions."

Question for Hap. Are you asking Lyssa or Natania to give you directions. It is Lyssa who is walking away; She told you about Camptons. Though Natania may know where it is.
