Smugglers or Heroes?

Please post your original applications here, leaving whatever you want in secret text. Please hyperlink your character sheet as well.

20 Point buy, 2 traits, use standard gold for your class ONLY on weapons/armour/essentials (such as lockpicks), all unused gold is lost. You pretty much have the weapons/armour you need to survive and a few coins for food, everything else will be supplied at a later point. Remember you are down on your luck, but I'll allow one cheap scroll if a caster can afford it.

Remember to add your Favoured Class bonus, +1 HP or +1 skill rank (or a special one for your race from the APG). Those of you newer to Pathfinder remember that your ranks in a skill can be maximum = your level, but any class skill with at least 1 rank gets a permanent +3 bonus. This makes less skill bloat at level 1 and cross class skilling much more obtainable.

Name: Alun

Race: Human

Class: Witch

Description: He is very obviously human, and could be mistaken for any other not at all tall man that was from this region. He's five foot plus, if he's got his boots on, and if you count his jaunty hat. Thin, but not in a sickly skeletal way, just thin. No visible armor, or weapons for that matter, he just appears to be just another traveler passing through this tiny town. Except for the jaunty hat. Tri-cornered, feather plumed. Oh, and he has a friend with him. A well groomed animal for a friend.

Name: Raufinus DelMonte
Race: Half-Orc
Class: Alchemist (Chirurgeon, Vivisectionist Archetypes)
Role: Support Healer
Trait: Pragmatic Activator, Almost Human
Concept: "A servant whose luck has ran out, but whose life is just about to begin."

Description: As the image, with hints of tusks slightly jutting out. His skin is pale with a tinge of green mostly from staying indoors most of his life. Though still young his hair has been dyed grey for an older more respectable appearance.

Overview: By life's cruel hand he was conceived. As a mother's shame he was given away. So it was that the good Doctor Haufinus DelMonte, 4th Medico to Lastwall's armies, took the half-orc as his own instead of ending its life.

During his time in Lastwall, Raufinus was raised as a servant and assistant to the battlefield surgeon. There he learned how humanoid bodies work and how to best treat combat wounds. For 25 years, the doctor was able to maintain Raufinus's heritage a mystery. That is until Raufinus began growing into orcan features. After years of service in Lastwall, Doctor DelMonte was forced into retirement, which he gladly accepted. He took it as an opportunity to return to his homeland in Taldor. The good doctor's return would not be his destiny however as the caravan he was in was unexpectedly ambushed by goblins in Isger.

Raufinus was one of the few survivors of the attack and has finally made it to Taldor. The journey was long and it has cost him almost everything he had been able to carry with him from the caravan. But the quiet and studious man, had finally made it to his adopted father's homeland.

Name: Rone Garich
Race: Half-Elf
Class: Fighter (maybe with some levels in Barbarian later)
Concepts: "Rebel Without a Cause." "Spartan Idealist." "Stoic Mercenary." "Trust Issues." Not necessarily in that order.

Picture: At my Deviantart, because I guess I'm interested in showing off decade-old sketches.

Description: At first glance, Rone looks like a meager vagrant. His clothes are patched and torn, his boots scuffed and road-worn, his bright hair a disheveled mess of ridiculous sky blue (is that natural, or dye...?). But, in all the chaos of his patches and sashes, there is a calm, collected center. His eyes, as red as autumn leaves, greet every gaze with a cold, measuring glare. There is an iron strength in his muscles, a fluid grace in his movements, and a stony resolve in the set of his jaw. His equipment has fared far better than his clothes, all well-kept and neatly packed.

Personality: Rone is a stoic man with a personal code of 'ethics' that he tends to sum up as: "... Truth. Freedom. Survival. In that order." They're more like goals, really. He's not interested in wealth, he cares nothing for glory, he doesn't seem to have any friends, and altruism only seems to matter when it pursues one of those three goals. This pursuit is usually reserved for himself, but he's been known to lend compassion. Occasionally.

Rone is definitely an anarchist. He chafes under authority of any kind, "following" only when he believes that an order is something that he would have done anyway. While this is fairly common in combat situations, he does poorly with authority figures and any problem that he isn't "allowed" to solve with his fists... because that's generally what he ends up trying. No, don't think too badly of him. He'd actually rather avoid violence. It's just that... violence is what he's good at, and he doesn't see any problem with using it to solve issues that are worth the risk involved. He's not always good at judging the risk.

Background: Super-secret, because I'm like that. Rone doesn't talk much about his past, but he may have slipped that he needs to meet someone, that he was recently shipwrecked, and that he's been in jail before.
