Chapter 1: Attack!
That said, don’t get too cocky just because this is an anime styled adventure. You can still get killed in this world if you are careless. You may be an overpowered anime hero, but there are other overpowered anime heroes in this world that may not like you very much. There are some battles where the best strategy is retreat and fight another day. For how to roll dice on the forum, go here. For how to use the bb code on the forum and change your text by hand, go here. We will also be using the following text types to differentiate between text types: Regular = In character narration Bold = Character talking Italic = Character thought Gray text = Out of character Cool? Cool. Let's get started! Last edited by Lina Inverse; Mar 10th, 2014 at 02:31 PM. |

The Dragon Fangs are not a household name for a bandit gang, and this bothers them greatly. In the last 6 months, their numbers have grown exponentially, and they’ve plotted for this night for a long, long time (which is about a week for them). It’s o-dark-hundred in the town of Badger’s Hollow when the peaceful silence is broken by the sounds of broken glass, spells exploding, and shouts of “Go go go!” “We’re under attack!” “Thieves!” “My insurance doesn’t cover this!”
Either awoken or distracted from whatever they were doing, most of the townsfolk try to batten down the hatches and hope this is over with soon. But there are some who go running to the source of the commotion instead… Have at it guys! Last edited by Lina Inverse; Mar 10th, 2014 at 02:32 PM. |

Gamagori snaps awake with a start whilst still hugging his pillow. "-surance doesn't cover this!" His brow furrowing, Gamgori growls grabs the massive golden Lucerne Hammer stowed in the corner and tromps out the room. Stumbling down the road, Gamagori yawns grumbling at all the commotion, wondering where this shouting was originating, but not paying attention to anything outside. Finding the source of the shouting, Gamagori ducks down and enters the abode, not wondering about the missing door.
"You there! Per Section 54 of the mighty kingdom of Sayrune, YOU ARE BREAKING THE NOISE ORDINANCE!!!" Taking a breath to compose himself, he continues. "I am sorry to hear that your insurance provider doesn't cover..." He glances around. "Doors. But consideration for your fellow inhabitants of Badger's Hollow takes precedence! If you do not proceed to quiet yourself, you shall have to face the GOLDEN RULE!" He brandishes the golden hammer menacingly. Dice Intimidate:

Concerning Gamagori: An old man wearing an eggplant printed nightgown and cap stumbles back in fear. “I’m breaking the noise ordinance?!” he sputters after a moment. “But you— Agh, never mind that now, I’ve been robbed! Help me!”
Concerning Scara: Scara and Ruina slink along the sides of buildings until they reach the town square. There he sees a spliky blue-haired half-elf with an eyepatch standing atop a mountain of loot in a wagon. “Don’t let anyone follow us out of here, boys! This is our biggest haul in months and I am NOT going to have any of you screw it up!” He raises his arms up and flexes, leading his fellow scoundrels in a cheer. “Goooooo Dragon Fangs! RAWR!” The half-elf gives his best toothy snarl as he does this. “RAWR!” reply the mishmash of bandits left behind. And with that, the wagon goes barreling off to the east. |

i follow and make sure to stay far enough to not bump into them and close enough to be considered part of the gang if they have any magical traps.

Laying in the alley, curled around Unaghi.. and various other trinkets and bobbles.. he vaguely makes out some shouts. “Go go go!” ..... “We’re under attack!” ....Lazily opens eyes.... “Thieves!” "AHHHhhhhhHHHhhhhhhhhhhhh" He bounds to his feet, does a quick look left, look right, then fiercely starts rummaging through all the random items underneath and around him. "Everything still here!.. I think..", he croaks in Grippli. He looks over at a Raven, still laying where they were sleeping, yet grimacing at him now. "Can you go see where that was??"

An extraordinarily handsome young man glances out the window of the inn at the growing chaos of the bandit raid.
Hmmm, bandits every were, villagers in chaos, town guard completely overwhelmed... Looks like a perfect time to go out for a stroll. After a quick change of appearance, an extremely dull looking peasant slinks his way out of the in. Nothing about him stands out, except perhaps, a mischievous glint in his eye. Dice Stealth Check:
Let's go have some fun. He thinks to himself as he sets out to 'reclaim' some stole goods from the bandits. Last edited by Nevrend; Mar 10th, 2014 at 07:22 PM. |

Scara: No remaining bandits detect Scara and Ruina, but unfortunately, he sees that the cart is being hauled by quite strong horses for how laden with loot it is. If he were to follow it, there would be no way to do so stealthily. Even sprinting, it would be hard to reach it at this rate. It's traveling at about 11mph or 100ft per round, to be exact.
Grippli (You'll have to remind me of your character's name again): The Raven, with a mischievous glint in its eye, stands up and flutters to the corner of a roof. It tilts its head at it looks around, then turns back and beckons the frog to follow it. |

stops running after the cart "Well that sucks Ruina, we can track them because those horses are laded with good. but we don't need to run" we walk in the woods next to the road watching for flankers and making sure we have an advantage over anything that comes at me.

Gamagori: As he runs down the road, Gamagori is stopped by two humans and a kobold.
"Look pal, why doncha just go back to sleep, hm?" the man in the middle says. "Else we's might be taking that lovely hammer of yours." Handsome Disguised Man: The man slips out, too dull to catch the eyes of the bandits. Looking around, he sees six bandits in total. Three are mulling about the town square, one of which seems to be a ratkin packing up some remaining small trinkets. (I know they're technically ratfolk, but I just think ratkin sounds better.) Three of the other bandits seem to be harassing a rather large man a little ways down a street. Map is coming soon, still getting it configured. |

Seeing the beckons from Unaghi, the Grippli hurriedly starts to throw trinkets into pouches, items into casks, and throws everything on the cart that is harnessed to a shaggy, slobbering monster of a dog. Seeing that Unaghi has already flown away, he jumps on the Dog. Move Mjesto! MOVE.

Yamza is chillin' in a tree, taking a snooze. His ears perk up when he hears the explosions echoing through the forest. He stirs from his sleep, stretching and yawning, taking his sweet time.
He didn't really know why he bothered sleeping so close to the town. They didn't like him much anyway, after the last... incident. And the one before that. The town guard and the debt collectors would have his head for sure. But now, it sounded like Badger's Hollow was in some real trouble, not some giant-ape-on-a-drunken-rampage trouble. His stomach grumbles. "You know what? You're right!" Yamza replies, patting his belly. "Maybe if we get the townsfolk out of this pickle, they'll give us some grub." "I can see it now!" he continues, imagining the whole grand scene. "Being paraded out into town square, some sort of wicked banquet spread out as far as the eye can see... everyone's being all: 'WOW LOOK IT'S THE MONKEY KING HE'S SO HANDSOME AND SO COOL! THANK YOU SO MUCH YAMZA YOU'RE OUR HERO!'" Yamza is sold. Without a second thought, Yamza jumps off of the branch he's sleeping on, which, of course, is the highest branch in the tree.
