"Good evening." The blonde swordsman replies while evaluating the party."You all look like you could hold your own in a fight. I don't suppose you would be willing to lend a hand bringing some bandits to justice?"

As the giant walks out of the building, the Grippli takes a minute to gather himself; after all he thought he was a dead toad. Realizing he lives another day, he struts out of the room to follow. Upon opening the door, he sees a fairly competent, who is having a conversation with the back of the giant as he walks away. Hearing what the man said, the Grippli is excited because this man may help him on his quest, which would certainly mean less work for him! In response, the Grippli sprints past the swordsman, catches up to the giant, and jumps for his leg. Clinging for dear life, the Grippli begins to shake the monstrous leg, all the while screaming and pointing at the swordsman, hoping the giant will stop to recruit the dupe.

Gamagori keeps walking "Sorry, I'm afraid my abilities are already purchased, perhaps an-..." Then the Grippli grabs onto his ankle and begins making a sound only a screaming frog could make. He stops. He stares. He looks at the blond man. He opens his mouth, and raises his hand. He closes his mouth. Opens. Closes. Finally seeming to gather his thoughts through the sound of screaming Grippli, Gamagori replies "But perhaps we may have the same goal in mind, have you heard of the Dragon Fangs? I've just been tasked with taking care of them."

Feeling sanctification, the Grippli jumps off the Giant's leg; but doesn't stick around for their conversation. Instead, he runs across the street and back into the alley where he left Mjesto. Just as he begins to climb into the saggy mount's saddle, he feels a sharp rap on his head causing him to lose balance, and fall back down. Clutching his head, he looks up with moist eyes only to see Unaghi perched on the saddle's pommel. The raven simply glares at the Grippli with her dark, ever knowing eyes. "Unaghi! Those fools will lead us to powerful artifacts! The old man will also give us more if we help him! Of course, all will be yours if you let me pursue.." says the Grippli in his best common. The Raven, still scowling, gives a slight nod, then ascends into the dark again. At this point, the Grippli climbs back into the saddle, and leads Mjesto out of the alley and back to the giant and the swordsman; all the while rubbing the wound on his head.

Gamagori watches the Grippli run off, then run back with its ramshackle collection of belongings, rubbing its head. Poor thing must be too... lacking to know how to speak. How many times has it fallen on its head? I'll have to protect it, since it seems intent on going.

"It would seem that we do indeed share a common enemy. Their malevolence and blatant disregard for local law leave me no choice but to forcibly disband the gang of roustabouts." The blonde swordsman replies.
If I've read this guy right, talk of upholding the law should be the perfect leverage for gaining his allegiance. He thinks to himself.

Gamagori nods curtly, "We should leave immediately then, I'll meet you both by the eastern entrance to town once we're ready." Gamagori returns to the inn and dons his armor, gathers his belongings, and saddles his horse. Once Gamagori arrives at the path the bandits took out, he's covered head to toe in gleaming golden armor, a mixture of bands of metal and spikes that seem like they must mostly be for effect. Sitting on top of an even more massive horse, Gamagori easily achieves a height close to twelve feet off the ground at the head. "I'm ready when you all are, give the word and we shall depart."

Okay, I'd say let's get this show on the road! Because I really want you guys to slaughter some bandits already!

With things gathered and bags packed, the group sets off east, figuring "Old fort somewhere that way" shouldn't be that hard to find. But before the group can get too lost or off track, a wolf with a scroll finds them. Inside the scroll is the directions to the camp signed by someone named "Scara." The wolf seems more than happy to lead the way, so everyone shares a shrug and follows.

Despite it being something like 3:00am, the Dragon Fangs have by no means settled down for the night. The old fort is bright (well, for torchlight) and noisy. From the sound of it, this is the best raid they've had in a long time, and they've brought out all the best stuff to drink and party all night.

Map coming soon.

Gamagori sits atop his horse, making no particular effort to hide himself. Not much point at a -6... Stumbling upon a druid at the end of the trail of the wolf. "I assume you're Scara?"

sitting up in a tree just off the road is scara "you assume right, i have scouted out the area and know the lay out." jumps down and pats Ruina "also we better get of the road, Spike and Donald are on patrol and they come down here." goes to a little camp off the road. "you all look tired you can sleep till morning. i will keep watch." jumps up and goes up a tree nearby.

Map is up! I put a wolf on it to represent Ruina, but I figured I'd let Alex put his own character token down.

Gamagori scoffs. "I didn't get dressed, arm myself, wake and saddle my horse, and ride for several hours to go to sleep on the ground." Gamagori raises his "small" buckler to his face and quietly mumbles, "Anrecul." With this utterance, two sconces on Gamagori's shield come to life with an ethereal glow, glinting off of his armor. "I'll take care of the door."

With that Gamagori rides off away from the camp... then comes back... at full charge. The giant gold hammer clenched in both hands, Gamagori yells as loud as giantly-possible and smashes the door with a thunderous crash.

Excited to finally arrive at the party and get off of his mount, the Grippli decides that he will skip the introductions with this Scara person, and prepare begin preparing for the festivities; after all, he's already quite late. Humming in a toadish manner, he heels Mjesto a bit away from the others and hops over to the cart filled with all his do-dads and trinkets. Tossing various sacks out of his way, he eventually uncovers a trunk with fairly impressive lock. After he unlocks and throws the trunk open, he begins to fumble around for a bit until he hits a hidden leaver that, once hit, causes a hidden chamber to slide open. Still humming, the Grippli selects three vials of liquid and closes the secret catch and locks his chest back up. With a smile and a nod to Unaghi, who is perched on the side of the cart, he hops down and begins to walk back to his makeshift party. Still not fully paying attention to the others, he begins to slip the vials into one of the bandolier slung on his shoulders. He's only able to slide one vial into place when he hears a formidable cry, then a earth shattering crash. Startled momentarily and cursing to himself something about "not ever waiting for me!" the Grippli take a moment to pour the other two vials into either one of his scabbards. After such, he runs after the giant to join the revelry that awaits.

The fort is old and decrepit, and parts of its walls have been reinforced or had tall wooden fencing put up where the rock walls simply crumbled away. The sound of revelry can be heard from over the walls.

The gate looks pretty sturdy... But not sturdy enough to withstand the ridiculous amount of kinetic energy that is Gamagori. The gates come crashing open, one side going so far as to fly off its hinges.

Inside the walls is more of a makeshift tent village than a fortress. There's many tents sprinkled around, and a few old walls have been given a canvas ceiling to make some makeshift rooms. The only structure of much notice is the actual fort itself in the southeast corner. Most of the bandits are gathered around a large campfire, drunkenly clinging to each other and laughing. The bandit chief is easy to spot; He a large (for a dwarf) bald man with a beard sitting atop a rock. Around him are a few other bandits who look a little nicer than the rest of the rabble. The blue-haired half-elf that was leading the raid can be seen next to the chief. The bandit chief has a loot pile next to him that he seems to be "distributing" to his followers, if by distributing we mean "throwing randomly into the crowd."

But the partying comes to an abrupt stop when the gates fly open and a large golden man comes charging through.
