(without gear). Her eyes show strong will and determination. Maya wears a beautiful mythril breastplate that was crafted by the finest elfin smiths. Upon it's chest piece is the symbol of Calistria. Personality: Despite her appearance, Maya has a quiet personality. She leads thru example, relying on her abilities to speak louder than words or prayers. However, caution to those who do not know her well, for not only is her hair red, but a few days each month her fiery attitude comes out and she becomes very stubborn and demanding. Background: Maya grew up in the Elvin metropolis and was the daughter of a prominent priestess. Maya's father was a legendary Wizard whom she inherited her magical abilities from. Maya studied under her father who believed it was the will of Calistria to show her the ways. But shortly after Maya's eightieth birthday a half elven priestess named Avah'Lyl came to her estate in a cryptic fashion and relayed a prophecy that Maya had hidden powers and that she were to come to the temple of Calistria where she was to meet with Alundro a great elven Seer at that time. Maya traveled by way of magic with the powerful half elf priestess and ended up in a pocket dimension inside of an old withered tree at the end of an alley amongst the ruins of a great city. There is a small door and a window looking out front of the tree. Only those who are set in the ward enchantment by Avah'Lyl were able to enter the temple. To all others there appeared to be just the bark of the withered tree behind the door when opened. Those who are allowed to pass enter into a large cottage room with a fireplace and large banquet table filled with ripe fruit and always seemed to be full of food. There were rooms off of the main room and a cellar where there was the actual temple to Calistria. There is a fountain below that is a statue of Calistria spouting water from her hands. All faithful followers of Calistria gain a complete restoration when drinking the water, healing all damage and curing all ailments. To all others it heals wounds. The water only functions within the pocket dimension in Nirvana and it is directly infused with Calistria's power. Magic items can be sacrificed to the goddess to enhance divinations and gain the godess' favor. Also living in the temple is Alundro the great seer, who was an old elf even by elven standards. He could barely walk or speak and was very frail. He would need Avah's assistance to walk. Avah had a permanent unseen servant within the temple and would use it to help the ancient elf move about when he had to. He was the one who predicted Maya's birth and divined where to find her. He prophocizes that Maya would unlock her Mythic abilities and be the one to restore a once great Elvin city to it's former glory by reeking vengeance and destroying the 5 gates to the abyss and sealing them once and for all. Alundro was in his twilight years as he was alive during the fall of the once great city. After Alundro told Maya her prophecy, he died, claiming that it was ok for him to pass on now that he saw his prophecy was being for filled. Avah told Maya that Alundro's spirit inhabits the very tree they were in, making him immortal in a sense. His spirit appears in the temple every so often and can even speak to him when he appears. In spirit form he appears much more vibrant yet still old and frail. This was also the day she acquired her Mythic power of Longevity. Maya had studied under Avah'Lyl at the temple for many more years as she learned to harness her mythical abilities. The temple was surrounded by many different threats, but the power of the wards around the tree were powerful. Outsiders weren't even able to touch the tree. Occasionally Avah would have to replace the door because of some angry denizen of the ruins breaking it after finding nothing on the other side. Directly across from the temple is a hill scattered with tomes and graves with a tall and heavily fortified tower amongst them. Here an evil lich dwelled who practiced necromancy and often unleashed undead to perform his will and accomplish tasks for him through out the ruins. He was known to have an extensive collection of magic items and he was known to barter for them if something of interest is offered. But mostly he liked to torment adventurers and monsters in the area and basically considered himself ruler of most of the ruins. He was known as Daern. The Yoggoloth controlled most of the other half. During her long life up to this point, she had spent about 220 years mastering the arts of both the arcane and divine. She spent about 15 years adventuring, and during that time she gave birth to her only child 'Rumil "Rush" Eiravel'. Once pregnant, she returned to the secret temple to raise her child. Together they would periodically venture to Magnimar for supplies and the like. Occasionally performing a good deed here and there. It has been about 123 years since her child's birth As time went on, Maya had made quite a name for herself in the city of Magnimar by performing great deeds. Just recently one of the priestesses who was a very close friend of hers was murdered. Seeing answers she was hired to investigate the recent murders.

He's the son of a wizard/cleric of the god of lust and revenge. He doesn't share his mothers views but his mythical powers where inherited from her. As such he's kinda had a rough life putting up with his mother and was quite relieved to finally get away, only to find out they hired her too...
