Wify doin good and the baby is too. Both have been discharged from the hospital, and are now staying with her mom for a few weeks, until she is all healed up from the c-section. So, everything went great!

Skizzie, I asked you to cover for Elden, healing the Drow would have been the perfect task especially since 1. one of his deities is Eilistraee 2. would have been a great opporunity to introduce himself to the party.

I didnt' want to post in game because as Lyell can attest to, when I am in a bunch of pain and on pain medication I get a wee bit grouchy.

Elu, take a vikadin and go sit in a corner. Seriously, chill out. Nobody rolled initiative and my character stopped the combat from breaking out. It was also more plot convenient for the guy who did the healing to catch everyone's attention, since he's a quest starter. Also, you're not the first to go ignored.

Sorry Luc, honestly it didn't even cross my mind, although your right, it would have been in character for Elden to do the healing, rather than Tunaster.

I have a tendency of not 'posting' for characters who are talking amongst themselves, or when they explaing things in their post, and I've nothing to add, or nothing from an NPC.

Lyell, I didn't mean to ignore you, but I had thought you were trying to sneak up on the drow, which would not have worked. Since you were trying to sneak up on Vadania, another PC, I should have rolled a perception check.

I'll be more thoughtful/observant in the future, Im sorry Luc, Lyell.... Don't kill me!

Drow of underdark has this to say about language.

drow communication is often initially
confusing to others, since the drow use Elven and Undercommon
interchangeably, frequently switching back andforth in the middle of a conversation—or even the middle of
a sentence—if they feel that one language conveys the proper
nuance or emphasis better than the other. Additionally, when
creating new terms for objects, creatures, or other items not
covered by either existing language, they often combine the
grammatical and phonetic rules of both. The result is that
the drow frequently speak a pidgin combination of the two
tongues

So, you'd need to be able to speak elven and undercommon to be able to understand everything they say. Though Skizzie did say that they've been picking up common and Chondathan since they came to the surface.

I've came across this problem before, and have came up with a really good solution:

To understand drow language, roll a Linguistics check. Although I'm very tempted to make 'Drow' its own language...

Anyways, if you know undercommon or elven you get a +5 compentance bonus to understand them, if you know both languages, you get a +10; DC is always 18. this is because the drow may use both languages, but still come up with their own words or meanings for familiar words, in addition to a very odd accent.

As for the Drow sign languange, if you know it, fine. If you don't, it might as well be odd hand gestures.

The drow on the surface have learned to speak certain tounges of Common and Chondanthan. Its also possible for them to be able to speak goblin.
