Munshin accepted. Nothing like a good haggling to show serious business. He produced the coins, bit by bit, until all were provided. "There. All settled now, yes?"

Bartholomew doesn't even bother to actually count the coins, apparently. "Aye, settled indeed. Those addresses are for the Yokav Block, about a 45 minute walk that way," he points to what would be left exiting the inn, "Biggest building in area, can't miss it. How'ver, it is not owned by us, is owned by Dragon's Maw. They are very weak right now, so you have very leetle to fear from them. I do not know what hus struck them, though."
The area he is speaking of is mostly unknown to all of the group, but from the sound of it, "Dragon's Maw" is a gang that controls the area, or at the very least, used to. |

"Oh?" came the response from Munshin "Weak you say? Anyone you know offhand trying to take advantage of that yet?"

"Not likely. Dragon's Maw used to be known for making their vengeance... Memorable. Pro'ly some new 'Family Business' will move in if Dragon's Maw falls. Mighty big if, though."
The green man leans back in his chair, which protests greatly at the weight. He seems pretty content at being able to talk shop, and certainly seems to have appreciated the business. "If'n you ever need another extra-private room again, feel free to stop by. Steady customers are hard to find." |

Munshin nodded a farewell, where all presumably head out. "That particular place may be our best bet for a sizeable location, whatever we make it. I don't know about placement for a statue though, but if we have to start somewhere..."

Nodding a farewell to the giant, Roan follows out behind Munshin. "Agreed, and I could certainly use the exercise." The man utters a short, singular laugh mostly under his breath. "It seems that our starting funds still have some extras to it, let's perhaps find a place to see what we've got available before we invite ourselves in. The Dragon Maws may want some party favors."

"I would gladly supply some party favors." The shade mutters to himself, though he seems to relish the idea.

"Yes, yes, on our way then. Let us begin." Eran says quietly, trailing off into a chuckle that sounds just a bit mad.

Outside, the inn opens up into a 20-foot wide street, with paving stones set in the ground. Vendors of all sorts line the sides of the street, both in small building venues and mobile carts, hawking all sorts of goods. Crowds of people walk every which way, only moving out of the street when carriages ride past. Tall buildings keep the street out of direct sunlight, but massive polished mirrors sit at the corners of intersections, reflecting light to help to illuminate the road.
The people themselves are quite varied in all aspects. There seem to be fully grown individuals at a height of four feet tall, up to an astounding individual of almost fifteen feet, as well as people of all different colors, including a fellow who seems to be changing through a spectrum of colors as vivid as a rainbow. The street stretches into the distance in both directions, straight as an arrow, as most all streets in Ward were. Bartholomew had pointed off to the left, or Sun-Sinister. If he was telling the truth, its where a few home-openings just might be. Last edited by AwesomeEllie; Jul 11th, 2014 at 12:16 AM. |

As a paper was written on, it seemed like notes were made for their use. Whatever the case, Munshin considered where they were told, the general way, and nodded towards it. "Worse case, we double check a map, but I believe our adventure is that way."

"Well, unless anyone has any pressing needs, let's attend to this 'adventure' shall we?"

As the group continues to move Sun-Sinister, the crowds start to thin out, and the quality of the goods being hawked decreases. The buildings take on an even shabbier appearance, until you get to what is presumably your destination. The building is absolutely massive, taking up a large city block by itself, and towering over any building near it. Most notable is that the Yokav Block doesn't have any small entrances and corridors on the outside of the building, but instead has a single massive entrance arch leading to a moderately sized courtyard in the middle of the building, that proceeds to go up to what appears to be the highest ceiling.
The ground floor, and probably every floor above, has two large halls serving as wings, with large stairwells at the end of each hall. Buildings, some with signs proclaiming names but all with a six-digit number, ring the courtyard, as well as a corridor that runs the perimeter of the building, connecting the two wings. People bustle about the courtyard, and it seems almost like a school of fish flowing to and fro. |

Munshin peered up and about a bit surprised. "Not quite what I was expecting, but interesting." For a spot supposedly held by some gang, it seemed busier than expected, esp if they were in trouble in some way.

"Hmm yes, a bit of a surprise. Those numbers that the... large innkeeper gave us, I can only assume they correspod to the numbers around the courtyard. Which exactly should we be looking at?" Eran turns to Munshin, raising his eyebrows inquisitively. They'll certainly want to scout out the buildings before they take any drastic actions and they may as well get started with that. They also will have to be a bit quiet, with this many people around. Eran pats the device in his pocket. I should have that covered. he thinks to himself, grinning.
