I would be happy to get the current characters together as soon as possible. I think having other player characters to interact with will make the game more fun for me, and less difficult for you. If we are in too different of locations, you can scrap as much as you want of what we have done so far.

If you want to put a completely different game together, I'd be up for that as well.

I'm up for whatever you'd like to do with the game. Getting everyone together would be nice, I was actually thinking of suggesting that, but something different would be good too, since it seems we are the only one's on the site interested in Dinotopia, and we could have more players involved if there was more interest.

Well, alright, that sounds fair enough. Since Im not keen on trying to scrape the barrel again and try to recruit, here's what I was thinking:

Since you've both said you'd be down to start something fresh, did either of you have any preferences for what kind of game you'd like to play? The reason I suggested Star Wars is because its super easy to get people involved. Another thing that might be fun is something in the Dungeons and Dragons sphere.

Any thoughts?

I play in quite a lot of D&D games already. Something with peasant heroes might be kind of interesting for me. The last Star Wars game I was in died an early death, but I'm open to try whatever.

Modern horror (in the slasher style) also seems like it'd be fun, but that's a tough draw to get people.

How about a high Psionics game? Like this one. It's based on the world of Dark Sun.

I'll try to articulate this idea as best I can:

I was thinking a D20 modern game inspired by martial arts action movies and retro side-scrolling video games called Streets of Rage. It would exist in a world where guns are very restricted and fighting takes a precedent role. Players would take the roles of ex-cops who can't take the corruption anymore and want to fight back against the criminal organization that's literally laying siege to the city, or goons in said organization.

I'm playing around with the idea of everyone building an individual style by making fighting styles like 'Karate' 'Judo' 'Jiu-Jitsu' skills that players can use to perform Moves and Techniques that range from spinning back fists to submission holds.

What do you guys think?
