Concept/Role: Heilda spent ten years with the Soviet High Command. She was the Doctor, a highly elite Russian intelligence agent. Originally recruited for Spetsnaz as an emergency medic, her ruthlessness and cunning kept her alive in horrible situations. In her darkest hour, the Russian government abandoned Heilda. The Colonial Authority, quickly offered her a contract as a special agent.


Physical Description: Slender and graceful, her moves are planned with a sly sex appeal. She speaks with a thick Russian accent and demeanor. She always carries herself well as if masking her violent, manipulative tendencies.

Personality: Her charm and grace are non-existent. She has a self arrogance about her, yet she is most comfortable working around people. She is cold, heartless and brutal. Helida is quick to judge, and always has a plan, possibly one that sacrifices everyone for her own survival.

Concept/Role: Bluntly, Ice is a killing machine. One of the most advanced in human engineering, and fully aware of his nature. He fully embraces the role the military has assigned him, namely the protection of all members of the exploratory group. The extermination of enemies with extreme prejudice is a particular talent, as well as surviving in very caustic and hostile environments. Proficient with a number of weapons but primarily specializing in rapid fire guns, Ice has made a reputation for his reliability and success in combat. Rarely ever caught off guard, this is a sentinel to the extreme.

Physical Description: Designed to look as human as possible, his hair is a perpetually slicked back black crew cut, with a muscular whipcord body. Intentionally agile, he retains the natural durability of being a machine. Typically garbed in standard light duty Military grade armor, he is also loaded with a vast array of weapons to the point of being able to supply spare arms to comrades in a pinch.

Personality: Stoic, the word that usually comes to mind when one deals with Ice. The hard glare of his unflinching gaze unnerves those not used to dealing with Synthetes. His aloof nature shows his disconnect from humanity despite programming designed to allow him to blend in with "squishies". He can sometimes make rigid attempts at telling a joke, the only comical part typically being his ability to fail at telling a joke. Nevertheless, his singular sense of purpose proves invaluable as he doesn't seem capable of panicking under pressure.

Concept/Role: A technician with a focus on building, maintaining, and upgrading robotic and cybernetic parts and beings.

Physical Description: Two-bit was made to look as average as possible. At about five feet ten and what, in a human, would be in the body size of 150 pounds. The one thing that sets Two-bit apart from most humans in appearance is that a malfunctioning portion of his left eye has it appear to constantly shift colors.

Personality: Two-bit has always been fascinated with technology, when he was "born" his creator implanted an entire childhoods worth of memories into him, many of which involved him playing around with machines and learning about how everything from the simplest radio to the most advanced synthetic worked. He did not even learn of his own status as a synthetic until his "father" died and left him a note entailing all that he was. Since then Charles Morant the Third has rejected his human given name and goes by the name Two-bit, not out of hatred of what his father tried to do but because he cannot live with the name of his creators deceased child. He is naturally inquisitive and most humans find him to be a fairly kind individual, if somewhat blunt.

Background: Two-bit was born Charles Morant the Third. Son to Charles Morant the Second, engineer extraordinaire and pioneer of the "true life" synthetic technology. Charles Morant the Second created Two-bit due to the death of his child, the original Charles Morant the Third, in a tragic shuttle accident. Charles II wept for his son but as he did so he also decided to make a synthetic in the image of his only child. Charles III was an incredibly gifted young man when it came to scientific fields and Charles II made sure that this new synthetic was gifted with the knowledge and memories of his son, making him an incredible engineer and scientist. For many years Two-bit didn't know a thing about his past. He believed wholeheartedly that he was the natural born son of Charles II and Charles II treated him exactly as he had his own son. It was only when Charles II died that Two-bit found out that he was just a synthetic version of Charles Morant the Third from video files that his father/creator had left for him in his will. The tapes had a sudden and unexpected effect on the young synthetic, instead of continuing on as the identity he had been given, as Charles Morant the Third, the synthetic took on a new name Two-bit. Two-bit then did something else his creator would have never expected, he joined the military as an engineer and computer tech. Given his created inclination it didn't surprise anyone that he excelled in those particular fields. Since then Two-bit has done all he could to advance in the military as well as advance synthetic rights when possible.

Character sheet is still WIP. Also a suggestion that we keep OOC conversation in the OOC thread and just use this one to post characters/sheets.

Name: Travis “Stacks” Osmund
Class/Level: Smart2 Fast 2 Engineer2
Rank: Staff Sergeant
Concept/Role: Combat engineer. Specializing in jury rigging and mechanical repair and building. Not as good at straight up fighting as a full warrior but knows which end of a gun to point at the other guy.

Physical Description: Born and raised in a low G environment Travis is what is often referred to as a “spacer”, tall and thin with naturally pale skin. He's acquired a bit of muscle in his time with the marines but his metabolism would never allow him to really bulk up much. Without his shirt on a thick ropy scar from a plasma burn is evident crossing his back.

He keeps his head shaved bald and has a brown/black goatee. His eyes are green but few people see them as he almost constantly wears what he calls “The Rig,” which is a bulky set of electronic glasses. The origins of the rig begin long before he joined the marines, starting as a humble set of near obsolete display glasses that he has tinkered with and modified till it is unlikely any components of the original set remain. No-one really knows everything the glasses can do, but it is reputed that they can do everything short of making him coffee in the morning.

Not surprising considering his status as a master tinkerer and “shoulda been a mad scientist” Travis' favoured weapon is his heavily modified sidearm, dubbed “The Cannon”, an almost comically large revolver. The Cannon is an up-scaled and modified version of an antique pre-colony era revolver “recovered” during a mission to break up a rebellion on some steamy jungle planet.

I agree Spatula lets keep OOC in it's proper thread and don't take 20 on what the basics you'll need to start off with okay Munday. Since it will take you days and days just for what you're buying whatever it maybe okay. You can take 20 if you like on requisitioning gear that you'll also need in combat and etc on planet and couldn't buy do to low wealth left over (like armor, heavy weapons/weapons, military grade items, etc etc). Other then that just follow the rules of requisitioning in the core rules.
