ID:	81077 Oberon the Nightmare King, he is a Petal Sorcerer who by a cruel twist of fate has been stripped of his powers, usurped and banished from his land. Oberon stands a whopping 20 inches tall and weighs in at a solid 60 ounces. His wings look like the petals of the Anvil of Darkness. He is now questing to regain his powers so he may one day return home and reclaim what was once his. His class make-up is a few levels of Sorcerer and a menagerie of PrC dips to create very strong fear based illusions so potent they could even frighten those normally immune. This concept could even be done with a gnome to some extent.

ID:	81078Zik (Zeek) Shadescale he is a Dragonwrought Kobold who is out to create a land of dragons and dragon kin. His patriarch is a Shadow Dragon so his scales are deep violet with vantablack tiger striping throughout but his oddest physical trait are his eyes which are prismatic almost as if Io reached down from the heavens and marked him to show the world that there is a shining light within him no matter how dark his scales. Zik's classes would be a combination of Ranger/Scout to create a swift hunter build.


Let me know which character would fit into your world better so I can flesh it out the rest of the way for an application.

Personality: Kalabas is outwardly a kind and gentle man of no great importance. He goes out of his way to show affection to others and often can be found giving coins to the poor and children alike. Its only when he is out of thr public eye that the truth of the man is revealed. He isnt intentionally malicious but he will not, or perhaps can not, concern himself with the suffering of others and if he benefits from a situation it matters precious little to him who may be harmed. When left to his own devices he spends his time pouring over the grimoire that first gave him his powers and little else but rarely is he left to his own devices, his master long ago determined it was best to keep Kalabas busy.

How do you handle XP/Leveling and abilities that cost XP?

Are traits/drawbacks allowed?

Are you open to porting other things over from pathfinder?

Regional Feat: Magical Training - Wizard (Using Regional Background Option "Enlightened Student" per Champions of Valor page 21 & 23)

Appearance: Zeyra is a striking figure and stands just over six feet tall with a well-muscled build. Despite her size it is neither her height nor build that people first notice. Her skin is a pale white color and her hair is long and a vibrant white color with a faint blue sheen to it near the roots. Her eyes are slit like a cat's and a bright blue color. Her canines are large and sharp with the bottom teeth a bit oversized, denoting some of her half-orc ancestry. She typically wears clothing that helps her blend in weapons and usually has a bow nearby.

Backstory: Zeyra's mother lived in a small town in the northwest area of the Silver marches until she was taken as a slave by Orcs who raided the area before returning to the Spine of the World. While she was eventually freed and returned to the Silvery marches she was with child, who she later sent to live with cousins in Silverymoon. Zeyra grew tall and while she had the toughness of her Orc ancestry she was also far from dimwitted as many assume those of Orc ancestry to be. Always curious, it was soon discovered that the best way to keep the child out of trouble was to keep her occupied with new things. As she grew older her foster father realized she had an aptitude for magic and it was included in her studies, albeit at a level less than a true wizard. Reaching adulthood, Zeyra found her with an order of Rangers that worshipped Mystra.

As far as XP cost, assume you have exactly enough XP to be level 4, any XP spent would reduce you to level 3 or lower...

Traits and drawbacks are allowed.

I could be open to Pathfinder rules on a case by case basis.

Physical Description:
Not even three feet in height, he doesn't cut that imposing of a figure, a look that he deliberately tries to cultivate. He keeps whatever weapons he's caring hidden away from prying eyes. When most see him, all that they register in their minds is another halfling pickpocket. So, while they are guarding their coin purses, all their other defenses are down.
He wears clothes of a dark blue hue. A color that doesn't stand out in the daytime, yet aids in him blending into the shadows at night. They are styled to be loose and free flowing, not hindering in his movements at all. His one stand out figure is his fiery red hair. He keeps it long, but is usually tied tight in a topknot that keeps it out of his face.

Personality:
Childlike in both appearance and attitude. He gives off a presence of innocence in his dealings with strangers and prefers to see the good in everyone and everything. But if ever he finds himself wrong in this, he's not timid about bringing on the retribution. He enjoys a strong dwarven ale while playing a high stakes game of chance. He takes the time to appreciate the small things in life and worries about very little. In his profession, life can end at any moment so all the more reason to take pleasure in everything you can.

Background:
Malakai was born into a talented and hardworking halfling family in the land of Luiren. In it's main city, Beluir, his father was a clockmaker and locksmith or great renown. He grew up learning the trade, something that he found he had the knack for. Problem was that it was boring. He preferred something with more thrill to it.
His father grew concerned when he had to bribe the city guard for the third time to release Malakai for his afterhour activities. It seemed that he liked to put his skills to the test on a variety of locks and take a souvenir or two as a reward. The response was to try and find a different outlet for his son. He hired a scholar in the arcane arts to tutor Malakai.
A year past and he did indeed learn much, just not in the original way that it was intended. He told his family that we wanted to pursue his knowledge in the arts out in the wider world. The truth was that he did not want to be an embarrassment to them if he was caught again. Plus, his wanderlust was starting to take hold of him.

Appearance: A towering 8ft tall man beast of brown fur and armor. His horns protrude from his head and curve sideways and towards his snout. There is little to see of his human side except for the eyes. His armor is emblazoned with Mystra’s symbol of eight rings and flowing red mist. His blue eyes blaze out from under his head piece. He carries a very large Great sword on his back next to his long bow.

Personality: He is loud and proud, even when he is not trying to. The life of a Minotaur. He is friendly and straight forward. He does not mince words. He enjoys good food, drink and conversation. He realizes he is the exception and rare and uses that to his advantage in combat and for conversation out of conflict. Most will find he is quite smart (another strong human part) for a “beast” as most would call him. He is loyal to his friends and dedicated to his goddess. In his mind, he is in this world to defend the weak, keep the weave safe and strong and to destroy evil in the name of his goddess. Now sometimes he does it in his own way, hence the chaotic vs. lawful good alignment.

Posting interest! I would love to play a dragonfire adept. I’ve got a cool concept in mind but I want to think it through a bit more before I post an app.

I’ve been playing 3.5 for almost a decade - it’s my edition of choice, I know it like the back of my hand. I don’t have an encyclopedic knowledge of the Forgotten Realms however so I hope it is okay to learn more as we play.
