Godofallbears: While I don't see anything immediately offensive about persistent eidolon, I'm generally conservative about what sources are allowed. In this case, I'm going to stand by that and say give it the Thumbs Down. For ease of continued development, I'll say that all the (UM) archetypes on the SRD for Summoners are acceptable. http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/base-classes/summoner Still waiting for Shaman of Ohio and Insacrum. Are you two both still planning on submitting? I think I covered everyone who had additional questions or anything else, but if I missed someone, I apologize, just make me aware of my error. I'm sure I'll also remember some other unresolved issues by tomorrow morning. |

You and me both.
No rush, I mostly just want to keep a lid on the total number of submissions the best I can, at this point. |

I can only speak for myself, but I've dreamed about a Pathfinder game in space. If I wasn't such a horrible DM, blowing up my player characters, I'd have started my own game long ago.
Pathfinder. In space. I'm excited even if I don't get in! |

An important question I forgot to ask sooner:
Will there be giant space hamsters?

Damnit, as soon as I saw spelljammer that was my first thought but I didn't ask.
Can our adventuring team have a giant space hamster as a mascot ; I promise we won't call it Boo. Last edited by Allu; Feb 23rd, 2012 at 06:56 AM. |

@who can create folders - Anyone with a red name, and any Community Supporters within a game they DM. Normal members of the site have to request them, and then they take a few days (but are usually approved).

Ah yes, the eternal struggle between good roleplaying and inclusion of giant space hamsters. GSHs arguably fit into the "silly and usually not good" Spelljammer sub-trope, best exemplified by things like tinker gnomes and the dohwar, which I'm doing my best to downplay. That said, like any other roleplayer with a soul, I have a weakness for GSHs. They're very difficult to include in a way that makes any sense at all, but if I see an opening (which I'll be on the look out for), then its very likely that they will make an appearance.

I am now sorely tempted to make my eidolon a miniature giant space hamster now.

A miniature giant space hamster?
May the gods have mercy on all our souls. ...If I ever DM a game, it will be called "Conquest of the Giant Space Hamsters" |

There is a plot line that is used occasional in situations like this (it may even be a trope?): the players visit the "zoo", which is a collection of animals from previous versions and similar games that never quite made it in the system being used. Usually to rescue one of the creatures that has been wrongly cooped up, and often ending in the release or destruction (can there really be a middle ground?) of all of them.
EDIT: Which now I fear that perhaps I shouldn't have brought up for concern over the possibility of a game chapter entitled 'GSH Rescue Agency Inc'. |

There must be a visitation to a planet of Flumphs. :P Be they evil like Daleks, or happy weirdos like ..... not Daleks. :P Everybody loves Flumphs..... oh and am I the only on wondering why the hell Pathfinder hasn't made myconids yet? and you know they would have to make them a playable race. Myconids are friggin awesome.

I am so happy with the direction this whole conversation went.
