A bit late, but I want to try out for this game and learn it as we go along!

Character concept Dwarven wandering wizard (high mage, of the hedge variety). Bold, brash, and vibrant, with a curiosity about the world and its undercurrents of magic. So much so that she's willing to cross lines of propriety and perhaps even more in order to attain such knowledge. After all, is there a higher calling than the pursuit of greater Truth? Her people don't seem to think so, however.

Background: Mirai is a one-time thief, hustler and con artist, good enough to stay alive but not so good as to avoid some very frightening close calls. She gambled everything on one last score, and gained enough financial security to go straight, open a shop and raise a daughter. Now approaching middle age, she watched her daughter get the itch to join the tomb raiders and adventurers leaving the city, no matter how much she discouraged it. Now her daughter is missing with no word of her fate, and Mirai must find her way back into her old life to search for her daughter.
