A Tolkien themed elite society was a key part of the Dies The Fire series, upon which this game is in part based. However, there is no such secret society in Topanga Canyon. Maybe out in the wider world.

The sorts normally available in pathfinder, minus racial and special society armor. Starting wealth is limited though.

How limited is it?
A frontline fighter type needs some fairly stout armor to be a meat shield for their companions.

Do you need more of a frontline fighter or a skilled person currently? If the latter, may move off of the Paladin path, At least for now...

The original post +1 lists the five accepted characters. The occultist Hope is a heavily armored tank.

A character would start as an NPC class for 2 levels and take an adventuring class at 3rd level.

Starting wealth is 20gp (commoner), 40gp (expert, warrior, or adept) or 60gp (aristocrat).

Some campaign traits may have slight increases in starting gear.

Trina's assignment to Seigfried The eldest of the Ladies of the Canyon had a special, private message for her adopted son. Her leg had been broken in the Uruk Hai attack, and he had been one of several members of the family assigned to take turns carrying her. For a woman who had been a pillar of strength across decades in the canyon, he found her shockingly frail, shaking and trembling with pain. The fine lines of her veins were visible through thin pale skin. But, in the quiet of the Inn before the others arrived, she told him: "Seigfried, I want you to go with the young folks' expedition. If you can find a place for the tribe to flee and settle, we will follow as swiftly as we can, God willing. But the Uruk Hai could come back. They could capture or kill us all, at any time. If you find that has happened -- don't look back. Remember Lot's Wife, who looked back at the fireball and was turned into a pillar of ash. Take no thought of vengeance, for as it is written, 'Vengeance is Mine, I will repay.' (Will it be just them, then? Or will any insist on following, even against the elder's advice?)

I do encourage portraits -- both on character sheets and along with story posts, but I haven't made it a strict requirement.

We have a complete number of PCs.

If players have already posted interest started an application , they may still complete them and if done before Jan 1, I may consider them. However, I will not consider any new expressions of interest at this point. At this moment, the only potential late additions I may consider are, at most 2 of:
