When I say "no multiclassing" I mean nothing like Fighter 3 / Wizard 4. A fighter with a magical archetype, or a wizard with a martial archetype is a-okay. ![]()

You can't divide class levels like that in Pathfinder 2nd ed. at all, as far as I knew, archetype feats are the only way to multiclass. But free dedication feat is cool.

@ gwythion - absolutely, but I figured it would be a fair forwarning for anyone familiar with PF1e and curious about switching to PF2e. Multi-classing like that was fairly popular in PF1e's heyday.
@ Exeter - welcome! If you've got any questions, let me know! ![]()

![]() Name: Joy Hillstrider Class: Cleric of Sheylyn Description: Joy has golden hair and blue eyes. She's four foot tall and is accustomed to wearing boots with at least a two inch heel. There's almost always a smile on her face. Bio: Joy was born to a clan of nomadic Hin/Halflings that traveled about and performed. She's been on the road all her life every day a new horizon and always looking for new beauty in things. She can't rightly recall when she first heard the call of Shelyn, but her family always worshipped her and Joy's abilities were always celebrated. Still, as her clerical powers grew she knew she needed to go out on her own and spread joy and love and how lucky was it that her name was also Joy? She sees the advertisement and she's immediately happy to help. After all, how can love and happiness thrive while undead are mucking things up?

Name: Lady Satvi Tsao
Race: Human (Vudrani/Tien-Shu) Class: Thaumaturge (Regalia and Tome) Free Archetype: Mummy :3 Description: Dressed finely in elegant silks of yellow and white Satvi's lithe and curvaceous frame captivates most onlookers at first sight, the veil covering her face both enticing and impenetrable. Shimmering eyes, like tiny stars of golden light, shine from beyond the veil adorned with a large golden eye from which the sun's rays emerge. Her armor is aged yet well taken care of, as if passed down through the ages. She carries a khakkara with her, using it as a walking stick of sorts. A large tomb is clutched close to her chest with a gloved hand of thin fingers. Every inch of her body is covered in fabrics. Background: Satvi has a pretty big secret to keep, being undead. However, the nature of her existence fascinates her. Her memories of the event blocked out, she ponders who or why this change happened. In these long years, she has done everything in order to further her research into undeath -and end those who deal in it. |

I'm going to bow out, trying to fill out a character sheet has taken the fun out of it for me. I'm still not done. So, I guess I am gonna skip any pathfinder 2e games. Hope the game goes well for you.

Understood, Seekr. It's definitely meatier than 5e (which I regard as so wispy it's unplayable). The phone/chromebook app Pathbuilder has really made building a character sheet easier than puzzling it out by hand. Best of luck, and maybe we'll cross paths in the future.

Thanks. Besides 5e, I can do a character in 3.5 and pathfinder in just a few short hours, or a couple of hours, depending on the starting level. I really tried with pathfinder 2 e, but it was too much just to fill out a sheet.
Perhaps we'll see each other again.

Hello, I am quite new to this.
[QUOTE=Atalla Wanderer;9644946]This is what every character gets every level: On top of that, each class gets class feats and class abilities at each level. Martial classes tend to get class feats every other level, and spellcasting classes have their class feats more spread out, so that's something to keep track of per character. Free Archetype means whenever a character gains a class feat, they can choose from both their class feat list(s), and also their archetype list without having to spend a feat to dedicate themselves to an archetype. With free archetype can I choose two archetype feats, instead of choosing an archetype feat and a class feat? What does not having to spend a feat to dedicate to an archetype mean? Do I skip dedication feats in archetypes or was that just about having two separate slots to chose a class feat and a dedication feat? |

I've been sick the past few days, but before I got sick I was talking with Vislands and was reminded I wanted to implement a few additional variant rules that I'd left out. SO, I've added those in above: Gradual Ability Boosts and Automatic Bonus Progression in additional to Free Archetypes.
And I realized I'd misread free archetypes, so I reworked my table above to be more comprehensive about what is available at each level. What I recommend for those selected or those who just want to practice making a PF2e character sheet, is take a look at the table in the spoiler button and copy-paste / quote that into your app, for the relevant levels, and then fill it in. That way when I'm checking your character sheets I can cross reference the table, and all of you can make sure you don't miss anything, any feats or bonuses. Do you think that helps? @ Danilar - Welcome! I remember when I was a yellow name, I was so new I only had confidence in my writing and didn't know a single rule about any of the games available. With free archetypes, as far as I understand it, is that you'd get to skip the dedication feat and jump straight into the list, but you can only use archetype feats for feats from the archetype list. It's another column of feats available. @ Tyeal - Welcome! For everyone, working on a character sheet or stat table is Optional until selection, at which time it becomes mandatory. First and foremost, I'll be looking and judging based on the writing and the character presented. EDIT: Also, if you are ready for a review let me know so I can take a look and provide feedback, or as further questions.

That sounds fairly helpful, including that table for cross-reference. Wouldn't want folks new or unfamiliar to PF 2e to feel underpowered or that they're missing something.
And I would appreciate a review. Always trying to make quality apps ^^
