Hi JaDeX105! This idea had crossed my mind too, and could be really cool! My only trepidation would be that running two groups might slow my pace a little. Then again... most days I find myself wishing that there were more games to post in! Perhaps I'll get a group started and then see how my time is going, and possibly get a second group running as well. I'd be happy to twist the adventure a bit, so that somehow along the way, the Reds and Blues need to cooperate in order to succeed lol. I'm wary of PvP too... anyway, thinking cap is on!

So friends, today is the 6th March over in my neck of the woods (downunder), so the agonising and painful task of putting a team of Kobolds together has arrived. Damn I truly do hate this part of the process, and in most games before I've always tried to accept everyone. Alas, this time I can't... yet... but I need to get one group started. If time smiles on my days, then we can visit the idea of the second group too.

My selection will be based on the applications, an attempt to mix site regulars with newer players, and a party of seemingly compatible personalities. ALL the applications are fantastic, and I'm so very thankful for everyone's time in putting them together. I understand that a game like this means more character-creation time than some... given the racial prerequisite etc. Your efforts are not unnoticed or unappreciated. It has been a great joy to read everyone's work!

Alas, I'll be going through the apps today, scratching my head, and working out which PCs will be starting off first. Yes, there is a chance of two groups in the future, if people are still interested. So my selection will also need to take into account the potential makeup of a second crew too.

This was really really hard... argh it is impossible! As such I've decided to run two groups... after spending the last few hours staring at the applications and unable to make any cuts. We'll all be in the same game, but in threads made secret just for our respective groups. I'll do my very best to write DM updates twice a week.

squirmonkey: I really wanted to have one of the site's newer members in this game, and Mikriti hit me right in the good spots with her personality and adorableness. Welcome to group 1!

Dechado: Not only is a Cleric a very handy thing in what is to come, I appreciated your way of injecting "kindness" into a Kobold. This will balance well with some of the story themes like...greed and corruption hehe. Welcome to group 1!

kymrel: Bringing a mix of Bard and Barb, and that tale of the hat! You have heaps of RPXP considering your number of posts too, and this makes me think you're in things for the long haul, and will be able to help us newer folks too. Welcome to group 1!

I'm blessed to have Touketsu in one of my other games, and damn can they write from the heart. Tears. Joy. Posts that turn everyday events into wonderful drama. Welcome to group 1!

Azure Nokori: I have two personal favorite kinds of fantasy characters. Fairies, and vulnerable elderly folks! Perhaps because I'm not so young myself... the idea of a slower-moving and life-weary member of the party, sounds just fantastic! You were also the only Druidic application, which is going to be a fun class to fiddle with in a subterranean environment. Welcome to group 2!

Togot: First off the ranks! Honestly, Mortis scares me. It is going to be immensely interesting seeing how he works in a team, and how far his passion for creating his own army of servants goes. Welcome to group 2!
