Welcome you two!
@Exeter I’m also fairly new to the system, so let’s make mistakes a many, and learn together! ![]() Zahza looks good and everything seems to be in order! (Love your White Mage icon!) @jr1v3 Not going to lie, I like your concept already. But like I said, I won’t budge unless everyone agrees. What Eidolon did you have in mind to be your companion? |

Name: Skrizka
Sheet: None yet Ancestry: Kobold - Copper Heritage: Dragonscaled *Class: *Alignment: Chaotic Good Background: Skrizka was born the only child of her parents, who doted upon her and loved her deeply. She was born during a powerful conjunction of the stars, which the rest of the Clan interpreted as her having a destiny, but that never came to pass. As a child, Skrizka accidentally brought death upon another one of her Clanmates by freezing up in fear when her cousin was trapped under a collapsed building. She deeply regretted her mistake and felt so bad for her aunt and uncle, who never knew the truth. She had always been a great liar, and she felt guilty for not telling them the true way their daughter died. As a teenager, Skrizka became more adventurous and thrill-seeking, trying to run from her past mistakes. She would often be the one persuading her friends to get into scrapes and shenanigans but also always the one taking the blame by lying to get them out of it. She fell in love with a Gold Kobold from the Sewer Dragons, and their relationship burned brightly for a time, but when he betrayed her, she was heartbroken and swore to hate him forever. Kobold NPC: Zebe was formerly Skrizka's lover, but since he betrayed her for a girl from his own clan, she hates him with a passion. Their relationship turned sour and she is now his rival. Appearance: ![]() (Picrew for now, better image coming later) About the Player: Hello! I love roleplaying, especially DnD with my irl crew at school and NationStates. Funny story from my last irl DnD session (or at least it was funny if you were there ![]() So let me set the scene. Our crew has been knocked out and put in a magically sealed cell. A guard is coming and my friend and I decide to pretend to be unconscious. The guard comes in, we fool him, he turns to take away our two other party members. We have a plan to stab him in the back of the neck with our daggers and in the pressure of it all, our wizard yells "Look, a distraction!" It works (somehow) and the guard is killed. We stand on each other's shoulders, put the armour on and head out. On our way out we meet another guard. He is suspicious of us so again the wizard yells, "Look, a distraction!" It works a second time (nat 20 I might add) and we ditch the armour and run off down the corridor. Then we're confronted by the head of the prison. He doesn't fall for the look a distraction and tries to pick our wizard up by the head. Bear in mind, our wizard is an elf and this guy's about 9 foot tall. But the wizard succeeds on all the saving throws he's asked to do, and this massive barbarian struggles to pick up this puny little elf wizard XD. Well... we thought it was funny. |

Hey welcome aboard!
I love Skrizka already. She’s had it rough, but her heart is still in the right place. ;w; Pretty interesting you picked a Sewer Dragon NPC! Let’s see if we can show Zebe what he truly lost by betraying our girl! Your story was quite funny! That’s the beauty of D&D, a lot of things can change by what the die deign show us. xD |

Name: Hungar The Hackulator
Ancestry: Kobold Heritage: Red Dragonscale Class: Barbarian (of course) Instinct: Red Dragon Alignment: Neutral good-ish Background: Gladiator Hungar was born to a close knit extended family, respected among the Hookclaws. Almost before he could walk he set about rebelling against his family's good reputation, exhibiting wrathful fits and violent behavior that his parents were powerless to stop. The only silver lining was that his anger was almost always directed at the deserving, albeit usually out out of proportion to the offense. When he was of age (arguably a bit earlier, since his parents were in a bit of a rush) he was sent out into the world to make a name for himself. This he did with a surprisingly successful foray into the above-ground world of prize fighting and gladiatorial combat, an area which suited his temperament and natural capabilities perfectly. Initially he was included as something of a comedy act; his willingness to fight literally anything resulted in some "Kobold Vs. ..." billings that drew decent sized, curious audiences. His tendency to survive, if not win, these mismatched challenges eventually won him a small but enthusiastic set of fans. Though he sent home regular letters and care packages (theatrically bloodstained), he didn't consider returning to his clan in person until learning of developments that might require aid from someone with his particular skill set. A true adventure to test his martial skills and help his people rise out of squalor was irresistible... Kobold NPC: Numbar The Calculator. Hungar's older brother is one of the clan's foremost accountants. Each considers the other tremendously embarrassing, but they would put their lives on the line for each other as well. Hungar readily points out that an axe is much more useful than an abacus when facing an insurmountable horde. Bonus NPC: Mr. Shivley. Hungar's erstwhile agent. A barely competent half elf, willing to sell gladiatorial appearances to anyone with a bit of silver to spare, regardless of how venue appropriate the appearance might be (Mr. Shivley is responsible for at least one particularly memorable birthday party). He is concerned for Hungar's well being, insofar as Hungar is the only kind-of-successful profit making venture he has ever been involved with. ![]() Appearance: Hungar is hulking (for a kobold) and takes care to keep his scales gleaming and his demeanor intimidating (for a kobold). He wears well maintained second-hand armor and a perpetual intimidating sneer. His glower notwithstanding, he is as much a showman at heart as he is a fighter and is given to doing impressive practice swings, battle cries and other routines whenever he has anything that might be construed as an audience. About the Player: I've been playing various RPG's for a while now but this would be my first Pathfinder game ever and my first martial character in over a decade. Hungar is based very-very closely on an NPC from a D&D game I'm running for some friends. He challenged them to a wrestling match. They brought an axe, forcing him to retreat in public. He's been out to get them ever since.

Everything sounds good, but do remember this is a Level 1 story. So even with all the succesful gladiator matches he's managed to survive/win, he'd still be green when it comes to actual adventuring. Other than that, I quite like his origin story. RAGE AGAINST INEQUITY Which instinct are you picking for your 'boldbarian? :O (Glad to see another Final Fantasy fan, I see your Black Mage icon! Do you and Exeter know each other already by any chance?) Last edited by Dechado; Mar 7th, 2023 at 03:35 PM. |
