Sander Vale Name: Sander Vale Race: Human Background: Scoundrel Class: Scholar (Gambler) Description: Sander is a human in his early thirties. Despite his predilection for the finer things (and vices) in life, he spends nearly as much time staying in top physical condition and (this usually surprises people) studying whatever topic has caught his eye. He enjoys staying well groomed and decked in fine clothes, though life has taught him to keep a good blaster at his hip as well. He has a penchant for playing things loose and fast and despises planning, saying that it's better (and more fun) that a job remain fluid. Background: Although born on Coruscant, Sander had been living in Nar Shaddaa's Corellian Sector for the last few years. Prone to wander from one place to another (oftentimes quickly), Sander never set down roots anywhere or had a place he called home, instead staying in hotels or the homes of those he recently befriended. While having a particularly successful streak betting at the dueling ring, he became friendly with a female twi'lek named Aayla. Unfortunately, Aayla happened to be an 'assistant' to the Hutt, krulga tronjilb, cousin to Grakkus the Hutt, and owner of the Corellian Cantina and dueling ring. When krulga found out, he brought the girl before him to be executed for betraying his trust. In an uncharacteristic move, Sander rescued Aayla from the clutches of the hutt, and attempted to flee from the moon, but was captured before he could escape. He had expected to be killed, tortured, perhaps, or at the very least, thrown into the dueling ring for sport. Sander had only a moment to be surprised as he found himself being thrust into a carbon-freezer. When he thawed from the block of carbonite, he found himself confused and suffering from hibernation sickness. Although he could not see, he could hear the steady sound of a mechanical breather. He found himself rising, which only added to his confusion. A deep voice cut though the otherwise silence like a knife, offering him the choice of working for him, whom Sander later learned was none other than Darth Vader, of being killed on the spot. Ever the practical one, Sander decided to roll the dice with his captor. Besides, how bad could it be...

Background: fil was born into slavery and serving his master at five. It was mostly as an errand boy. A woman picked him up at ten and he had to leave his mother. He was hired muscle and danced at night. He picked up various vibroblades and learned to dance with them.

His master died due to rebels disrupting the empires missions. This freed fil to find work, home, and food. With little knowledge in this he found work with the empire.

Description: wearing medium armor and different vibroblades. Fil stands six feet in height with a lithe figure. He has a kind smile and is light orange in color.

The armor will cost 1,100 cr (100 cr for the combat suit + 1,000 cr for the material). The gauntlets will cost 250 cr.

So, altogether, you're looking at 1,920 cr for all three. You have a choice between beskar or durasteel (the cost is the same).

Application Name: Runil Arvanis Species: Kage Class: Guardian *Inquisitor Archetype: Ataru Background: Survivor *Slave Personality: Runil is Merciless. He is unforgiving and extremely prejudice in his actions. In a lot of ways he resembles Vader himself, though less mindful and more brash. His mannerisms are extremely proper and polite, being a by product from his years of slavery, where distasteful slaves were retired. Appearance: Runil stands well over 6 feet tall, with broad shoulders and a lean muscular body. He is a menacing visage of darkness and terror under a cowl of freight. He has an entirely shaven head, one ring piercing at each corner of his mouth and greyish yellow skin. He dresses in a form fitting synthetic black body suite, covered in robes, highlighted only by his crimson saber. Backstory: Runil was brought up in such an unfortunate manner. Having been a slave to the Belugans on Quartzite for most of his childhood. He was exposed to terrifying things. Things that warped and broke both his mind and body. War crimes described as torment and torture, but we’re truly worse. His exile and punishment was cruel and unusual, but it was not his end, rather his beginning. He practiced his talents in secret, behind the lock and cage, unknowing what he was. When his powers matured, his anger heightened. He exploded in force rage and caught His capture in the cross fire. The slaver then laid in pieces, body parts scattered and pools of blood flooded the floor. With only the flick of his wrist he had gone from slave to salvation. After escaping Quartzite He wandered the universe for a small amount of time before getting on vaders radar. It wasn’t long after that he was being brought in by vaders legionaries. Vader offered Runil the power he so desired and the willingness to control it. A way he described as never being a slave to anything ever again. The Liberty in vaders teachings would far surpass anything he could ever dream of. From that point on there was no turning back for Runil. The Sith Lord had him.

RM-240 "Organic bio-systems are so adorably inefficient. So limited and fragile. I could do much better, given the right tools." Name: RM-240 (Arrem Tufordi) Race: Droid, Type I Background: Independent Droid Class: Scholar (Geneticist) Description: Arrem Tufordi is a 6' tall bipedal droid, humanoid in stature and limb count, made of gray metal with white accents. His faceplate is dominated by a singular, large ocular apparatus. Shutters line the top and bottom of the aperture like eyelids and can be moved individually, allowing him some limited degree of facial expression. These do not appear to be factory-standard features for a droid of his model. Similarly, portions of his arms, torso and legs do not match those of other RM-designated droids. It appears as though he has collected and repurposed parts of other droids into his own frame. They have all been modified to match his "natural" color scheme of matte gray and white. Background: A so-called "Fun Fact" (as such things seem to be appropriate conversation-starters among biological life-forms): The "RM" stands for "Robotic Mortician." Arrem was first activated in a morgue in a backwater spaceport in the Outer Rim, apparently sold to them as a slightly-damaged model at a massive discount. There he served as an assistant to the non-droid staff. The port was relatively lawless as Outer Rim locales went, so there was never a shortage of cadavers. Another "Fun Fact:" When your human supervisor tells you to sort and document incoming skeletal remains, they apparently do NOT mean they want you disassemble and organize them into piles based on type of bone, even though that seems like a far more logical method of storage. He had a "ribs" bin and a "vertebra" bin and a "metatarsal" bin; that sort of system was the standard for recycled droid parts in a mechanic's shop, why wouldn't it work for organic components? But apparently that is "unhelpful" in a morgue setting, according to his biological counterparts. Blah blah something about forensics, blah blah something about disrespect. There were many long hours of sorting individual bones to attempt to correctly reconstruct 5 separate skeletons again after that. Did you know that Echani and Twi'lek vertebrae are nearly identical? Arrem knows! (This is an example of the "amusing work-related anecdote," which is another common conversation topic among biological life-forms. Arrem has learned many things since leaving the morgue!) Through his work, he began to realize how delicate and strange biological body systems were. Droids could simply replace a broken part, but biological vital systems were easily broken, and failure of certain organs could be terminal. Yet somehow, biological systems managed levels of grace and precision that steel and electricity had yet to fully replicate. This was a fascinating concept. Could living systems obtain the rugged practicality of cybernetics, and conversely, could robotic systems achieve the fluid grace and adaptability of muscle and sinew? Arrem's programming was focused on postmortem anatomy-- it was difficult to fully understand the subtle intricacies of a circulatory system that no longer pumps blood, or a neurological system that no longer fired synapses. So he decided to pursue other career options. Medical science couldn't be too far a leap from mortuary work-- he already knew where all the pieces of a humanoid bio-system went, so in theory all he needed to do was apply what he knew and sort of... work backwards from there, right? "You can't just LEAVE, you're our droid!" his human supervisor protested. "And anyway, that restraining bolt in your chest plate won't let you exit the premises!" "Ah," Arrem said. "I believe this is an example of that 'ironic humor' I have heard my biological colleagues mention. Ha. Ha. I am amused." At that moment, another employee entered the room. "Hey, what happened to the food-service droid in the breakroom?" the newcomer asked. "I went to get a cup of caf, but someone's ripped its torso plate off and now it's not working." Arrem rapped his fist against his shiny new chestplate. Food service droids had similar torso casings to RM models, but housed restraining bolts in their heads instead. "I required a change," he said, "And I have never liked that guy." Both people stared blankly at the droid. "This is the aforementioned ironic humor," Arrem explained patiently. "You were acting on the assumptions that I still had the restraining bolt and you still had a functioning barista droid, but you were wrong on both counts. By my understanding, I believe this qualifies as humor. Ha ha." Arrem now works as a freelance medic. He may not be the best trained, but he doesn't ask questions and doesn't charge an exorbitant fee so he's popular among certain circles. Plus, if his patients don't survive, they'll at least be property labeled and disposed of.

Application Name: Tonis Race: Human Background: Pirate Class: Sentinel Description: Tonis is a tall man, not quite imposing levels of tall, but tall enough to look like he can hold his own in a fight. He keeps long black hair held back in a ponytail most of the time, and wears a beard long enough to split into two and hold in two tails with bronze metal clasps. While now he wears the uniform provided to him by the Empire, he has added elements of his old style to include a crimson sash around his waist and under his belt, and a wide brimmed black hat cocked up on one side. He carries with him both a lightsaber and a blaster on his belt, and tends to wear a cape. Background: Always strong in the Force, Tonis always attributed his success to luck and personal aptitude, developing an unhealthy arrogance through adolescence at his ability to outcompete both his peers and oftentimes superiors. Also, due to his upbringing, he developed an unhealthy recklessness, a type of dangerous bravery which goes hand in hand with a culture respecting the way the deeds were performed as much as the success of the deeds themselves. Second generation pirate, he was born and raised living aboard a ship, ever changing crews of less than savory characters, and more time in the outer rim than anywhere else. It was in that life he developed the warrior mindset, but also useful skills such as being able to hunt down high value targets, associate with anyone even those he hated, and an ambiguous moral code. Tonis had no love or hate for the Empire, as governments vessels were just as suitable a target for piracy as civilian ships (or act as lucrative contacts when you found a handy corrupt official.) When by chance a team of Inquisitors were commandeering his ship for their own purposes, he was identified as force sensitive. He wasn't difficult to capture, however, as it made plenty of sense that much of what he attributed to luck was the force and the opportunity to hone a skill he was using anyway appealed to his sense of superiority. He went with them willingly, and found the training exciting and the work to be not that different from piracy: you kill when you have to, capture when you can, travel the galaxy interacting with alls orts of seedy outlaws, etc. Now, instead of doing it for scraps he's doing it as a well compensated government agent. And he is in the good graces of one of the most powerful men in the galaxy, and he continues to get to use and take advantage of this natural gift he was born with.

Background Bounty Hunter
Class: Scout (Stalker)

Description: Dossen Raabir has light grey skin, hairless, with yellow eyes, and stands at just over 3 feet tall. Like all Dug's he walks on his hands and uses his feet as most humanoids would use their hands. The bounty hunter is ill tempered and has a bit of a mean streak. Those that make fun of him for his size are quickly put into their place.

Backstory: Dossen left his home world of Malastare at a young age. The Gran exploiting him and his family, forced into manual labor, the now bounty hunter grew a deep hatred for all Gran. Whenever he sees a bounty for a Gran he jumps at the chance to take them in dead or alive, although his has been known to bring them in dead more often then alive.

When he first escaped Malastare, Doosen ended up on Tatooine, where he became employed by Gorga the Hutt. At first he was used as a thug and learned to use a blaster. Soon the Hutts saw some potential in the young Dug. He had a knack for tracking and hunting down prey for the crime lords. Doosen picked up small jobs as a bounty hunter for the Hutts slowly growing a name for himself. Seeing more profit to be found in tracking down prey he set out on his own and was eventually picked up by the empire for his skills.

With a new employer, the bounty hunters prey became more elusive and formidable. No matter where he was sent, Dossen was more than happy to hunt down Gran, he didn't care how little the profit there was.

Application Name: Alek Ordo Race: Human Background: Mandalorian Class: Fighter Description: Alek is a tall, lithe man in his early 20s. While he certainly isn't the strongest warrior, what he lacks in sheer bulk he makes up for with speed, agility and unparalleled battle sense. Under his helmet (which he rarely removes in the presence of others) he is pale, with short dark hair, a goatee of scruff and a thin scar on his right cheek. His most common appearance is that of a traditional Mandalorian in dark blue beskar armour, scuffed and battle worn -- most of it from his father wearing it, though a fair few scratches are from his own battles. Backstory: Having been born and raised on Mandalore, Alek is familiar with the Resol'nare and to an extent believes in its tenets, though is not a zealous believer. Alek's parents were members of the Death Watch and when the Empire took power, Alek too joined the group. Now, after the death of both his parents at the hands of the Jedi, he is one of the last remaining members of his clan and is a lower ranking lieutenant in the remnants of Death Watch. He spends his down time on Endor, in one of Death Watch's secret hideouts. Recently Alek recieved a message from a contact, another Mandalorian he knew from his days on Mandalore, who reached out saying that strong mercenaries were needed by a high profile employer. Hopefully, a good high paying job would help Alek get the credits together for a 'rising phoenix' -- and the notoriety he needs to move up in the ranks of Death Watch; someday, he would take his rightful place as The Manda'lor.

Background : In the Outer Rim, Qorshai found life in the monastery too rigid and stratified. Something inside rebelled against his racial nature. Unable to live a life fulfilled there, he left to wander the Outer Rim worlds, taking work mostly as an enforcer, a very effective one. Darth Vader, in his search for Skywalker happened across Qorshai, found in him something to mold, to use.
