Wow. The RP responses so far are... yeah. Color me impressed. The selection process is going to be tough, but this makes it a bit easier to see how characters coalesce into a crew.

I'm sorry. I couldn't keep it to one, or two, or even three paragraphs. You are supposed to start a new paragraph every time a different person talks, so I couldn't work in any dialog under those constraints. BUT you did say no wrong answers, so you will get what I gave you. (and like it hopefully) I did not go over 30 (mini) paragraphs so overachievement was reigned in to only 1000%. It was the best I could manage, sorry. I tried to be concise.

In the spirit of the original request I contained myself to just three plot points, 1) what I was doing when the event happened 2) My immediate response to the event 3) My actions in the aftermath as the investigation started.

I have decided to take the 9 players and their characters listed, 9 since Fatherdondo dropped out.

That said, you may not have gotten the position you applied for, or at least not the preferred one in some cases.
We'll have to be clear and concise with how we post in the game thread so we can all keep up with where everyone is, but that's easily done.

PMs have been sent out and once I get a response from each you, I'll post the crew list here.
I think we're going to have some fun with this crew and the journey they are on.

Oh. I'm excited about that. I liked all the characters. I hope this means we will get a ships councilor from the supplements. I was listening to a podcast from the devs of the game yesterday and they recomend sharing snipits of the rules (copy and paste) and paraphrasing the lore info in the books and sharing it through rp in online games to get the info to all the players (especially newer ones) so I don't mind sharing relevant info in the manner suggested by the employees of the publisher.(screen shots of relevent sections in secret or dm, and paraphrased lore info through rp or secret) They are really supportive of the community playing the game and growing it vs trying to force short term book sales.

I got operations. Which will be interesting as the says I built Vren, science is easily his weakest link. Solid engineering skills though.
