Plot Summary The Pitch Lands of Nellegana; the worlds most popular online MMO. Utilizing a Face-Mount Display, or FMD, the game is able to make the players feel like they have transported into the fantastical world of Nellegana, a world of steampunk, magic, and monsters beyond imagination. The game also is famous for its AI run Cognitive System, tapping into the players mind to help create the ideal character for them. As the game exceeded in popularity, many more servers were crafted to fit the abundance of players being added on the daily. One of the games greatest features is how the Guild system is handled. A player can find a high ranking item with a 0.00005% drop rate called the Crest of Crystals, and through this item, can set up a Guild hall and create their own Guild. The world is shaped by these Guilds and their impact on everything. Within one server, Anima, the server is run by 6 mighty guilds; Crossed Blades, Rainmakers, Shick, Sleeping Twilight, Giving Tree, and Inkwell. To be apart of these Guilds is an honor, being a high ranking member in one is true glory. Each Guild control a section of Nellegana in their own way, with their own rules and focuses. The land has had no need for any other Guilds... But what if an unexpected player found themselves upon a Crest? From an enemy that no one has encountered before? Seems the only way to find out how something like this could have happened, would be to form a Guild greater than the 6 Server Guilds, one that even a Dev would notice. What is the Cognitive System? The Cognitive System is what makes the game stand out. Through an AI run program, the game can look into the players mind while initiating the first login, and through analysis, it can craft the ideal character for that player. It also changes up that players spells and abilities, to make them unique to that player. Three players may gain the Fire spell, but each will appear different; One fires a ball of flame, one summons a wyrm to bite the target, another drops a solar orb on the targets chest. One Monk's Phantom Rush may be a barrage of punches, another may phase through their target, leaving fist shaped indents behind. Information Current State of Anima World Information Guild Structure As of the campaign's initial start, there are 6 Grand Guilds, that rule over the Anima server. Each Guild is seen as royalty to NPC and Players, dictating how the server is to be run and who deserves to stand within power. Each Guild is established in a section of the map, controlling that area. You should behave if you do not belong to their Guild. The Masters of each guild are the only 6 players to current be standing at Level 17, making them some of the most powerful players in the server. Each Guild also has their own focus, a thing they are established for specifically. While some members do other things to their personal goals, the Guild have each one goal in mind, standing over mechanics of the game. Be aware... These may become your enemies. The Guilds are established as such: Crossed Blades - PvP focus. People join the guild to battle other players and claim their rewards and spoils of war. The close Guild members are trained in handling every class in combat. Rainmakers - Raid Guild. The guilds purpose is to study the enemies of the game and find out how to efficiently destroy them all. The Rainmakers were able to take down the Emerald Weapon Raid Boss in a single encounter upon its arrival, setting a world record for Nellegana. Shick - Rumored PK Guild. The guild seems to be based around a dark and edgy style, of skulls and darkness, but rumor goes around that Shick members are actually Player KillersPKs who will work for high grade items or even real world currency. Sleeping Twilight - Roleplay Guild. The guild was established by a small group of players just roleplaying in the world, before obtaining a Crystal Crest and forming a Guild. They focused on creating a town where everyone can roleplay what they want, including having jobs, relationships, and even forming minor NPCs to function as in-game children. Giving Tree - Trade Guild. If any guild had control over the Anima servers economy, it would be Giving Tree. Full of merchants, silver tongues and craftsmen, the guild manipulate how Gil is spread and given through out the cities. Even though they have a home town, they have establishments in all major cities. Inkwell - Lorehunter Guild. When any new event happens, new mobs are added, items are created, you will find Inkwell there. Inkwell's entire purpose is to learn the full story of Nellegana, learn why everything happens and learn the purpose of every object. A very boring a mediocre job for someone of such power. These Admins try their best to remain in secret, though someone may accidentally encounter one and may even learn of their Admin privilege's. All an Admin can do is either flee or get reprimanded by superiors. What are their purpose? How do other mechanics work? The world changes as players change it. The cities only exist through the guilds, the towns thrive from them, and monsters act accordingly to such. This doesnt mean actual game mechanics are gone. Players may encounter Unique Scenarios, that will earn them rare rewards. Players can go through skills, they can craft items, and explore Dungeons. A minority of players have ended up treating the game as that, a game. Second question: I don't see anything as far as CC goes, so I shall assume that character sheets are unnecessary for now, but what level range are we loosely going to start in? Have we all been playing the game for a while or did we just start?

I was considering Level 3 to start, but I was also trying to think that part over. I'm thinking of going Accel World logic and go "Leveling up doesnt happen TOO Often" so you could play the game for a long while and never get even halfway to max.

After all, we are modern people playing characters in a video game rather than people in a medieval world, even if we do engage in 'in-character' role-playing while in the digital world. In that case, we could really be from anywhere and maybe moved to the town in question, but if the town itself isn't important, could we be playing from different places in the world?

And speaking of playing characters, what is the game world like as far as enforcing role-playing and staying in-character? Do most people treat the game like a game while RP is kind of niche, or is the RP element of the game fairly popular and commonplace while playing?

I have some thoughts forming, should be able to pop a character out within the next couple days.
