I've seen some folks poke through, but not post in the game thread... have I left this TOO open for folks to proceed? I really just need a consensus as to who will do what, and whether you want mara with someone... otherwise in the morning Crinneth will show up to reclaim her intern and I'll send Tanner off to the graveyard by himself.

npc's are just tools.. you certainly don't need them for you to function, and some find them downright annoying. MOST of the characters I build will hopefully be 3 dimensional enough to be at least interesting to have around while the team interacts with them

Mara is a great example... useful little tour guide, but completely disposable if the team doesn't enjoy her interacting with the team. Kreggan was the same way.. as virtually all the guests in the prologue.

Are we having a busy RL week?

Oh, yeah.

Ithamar is interested in playing as well. He knows it may be a chapter or two before we incorporate him, but I should at least introduce him...

We're team mates on another game thread here, and he knows his way around PbP pretty well.

He's gonna swell our ranks to 7 characters.. which is the largest team I've ever ran. So this is gonna get a bit crazy in a bit.

I think I should hold off on you actually jumping in once we move out of sharn back towards the mournland. thy could use the extra help once you get there. This will give you some time to figure out how to integrate with the team... we've got the Droaamites and the Brelanders intermingling.. so you may be able to help cenmet that a bit more tightly.

And now we have suficiet numbers so if someone should bail, ecan continue onward without compromising game integrity. Strength in numbers.

Sul's Most recent post in his tangent HERE is another great example of completely taking the story in a direction I didn't anticipate.

Thematically appropriate, but I certainly didn't anticipate free- roaming bulettes to be scouring about.
This may or may not lead to something useful, but now there's bulettes being branded by Karrnath roaming free in the cogs.

Oi ve.. Now I gotta figure out how the world is gonna respond to THIS!

In my original post about it (which was accidentally deleted), I had a slightly longer exposition about how the creatures could have been purchased because they made for powerful guardians. Or they may simply have been remnants of the war, used in some battle then forgotten about, until being picked up by some other group who found their previous military training very useful for operations.

Otherwise, I'm more than delighted to see how the ity responds to massive stone burrowers tearing through the city, crashing through various buildings and alleys until either the cult or the bulettes are killed. good opportunity to map more of the city, quite ranly, and with all the commotion, the party will likely catch up with your tangent sooner than later!

Fil, I've noticed that on the maps you've provided some objects always place themselves above/under others. Is there some way to set layers in excel?
