Oh,m hey.. Sul would easily id aurok's mental sinature, regardless of what shape he takes. He' a monstrous humanoid, that reads differenlty from "orc" or "human"... same with vintereth, celestie when he's in non- human form, sul picks up on the fiend in tanner as well, and random's
"night" character will be as obvious as day when he's active with the team a well.

Oh I know. I was just trying to use some of my more mundane abilities, in this case eyesight. Aurok may have a hat of disguise, but that can't hide the fact that he's still a size category larger than everyone else.

I wasn't actually planning on being so active with my possessions, but it just kind of happened that way. It's barely two chapters and I've already been a cat, a dog, a bulette, a sleepy shopkeep, a horse, a carriage (with cannons!), cape, belt, mirror, and (a really fast) rock. Did i miss anything?

My BA thesis is due on Monday, so the next few days are crunch days. I'll probably post something (this is a great study break ) but don't expect anything too long/complicated.

As Fil pointed out, such was actually three weeks ago, but thanks anyway. I have not actually drunk any alcohol, though. My parents, preferring wine, offered me some, but the smell puts me off. Perhaps it's an acquired taste, as with coffee. In real life, seeing me drinking coffee is a big warning flag indicating an all-nighter.

It's amusing to see Qwghlm on that map, considering that it's a fictional British province conjured up by Neal Stephenson. I don't know much other than that on it, considering that I'm still in the first book of Quicksilver and have not read Cryptonomicon at all. (The Baroque Cycle technically contains eight books; Quicksilver is both the first book out of eight and the first compendium out of three.)
