Geez, only one tough question? I have nasty luck it comes to questioning. My committee grilled me for longer that my actual presentation and had me doubting the validity of my research by the end of it (my advisor wound up defending me in several spots).

How soon will I have to look forward to this, considering that I'm seeking a mathematics degree? Only graduate school, or undergraduate as well?

Unless you have a thesis to do (which I would doubt for a math degree), undergrad shouldn't really have you facing an examining committee of any sort. Grad school however is an entirely different matter.

HAH! I don't work for boeing... I just live in seattle, and folks get laid off from large factory/prodction centers like that all the time.
the reference to boeing is because of a fellow recently encountered at a job fair was fired from there a few years go, and is now anxious to start working for them aain. the miucroporcessor industry is the same way, as is the auto fabrication industry... etc. I don't put much stock in jobs like that .. or the gov't. I am a salesman. insurance, loans, mortgages, legal aid, and soon investments. so if you know anyone in WA state, i'd be their guy.

I just had a bit of an odd thought: the Ghost-Faced Killer, normally a rather sub-par prestige class, is actually quite decent in our campaign. Full BAB, 4 skill points/level, an early save or die ability... but most importantly can see the invisible and ethereal, and also has the ability to hop ethereal a couple times per day as well.
