The dystopia that is Eox Matsu winces each time Ms Trux uses the term "breather", and his eyes widenimplications behind her offer to Mendev. "Is that even leagal anythwere other than here?" He manages to remain still and quiet, though the effort is obvious to anyone caring to notice. He nods at Mendev to signal that following the lead is a good idea. "Any lead is better than no lead...". But he doesn't say anything.

Tweak Tweak stays quiet in the corner while the others talk, but listens intently to what is going on. He is not sure what is going on, but he promised he would help. Of course, when he made that promise, he had thought it would be aboard a ship, down in the engine room. Guess it was time to step outside his comfort zone a little. For now, he would just follow the group around and look for ways he could contribute, but hopefully they wouldn't mind if someone else did the talking. Talking wasn't one of his strong suites.

Ciandria the guide? "Pretty thin indeed." Ciandria said with a grimace behind the thin veil. Her dark eyes seemed to drink in the light of the room. "I think I know where that street is located. I'm willing to help!" The woman pushed herself away from the wall where she'd been leaning. She turned her attention to the crew of the Sunrise Maiden. "I won't presume to include myself in your... business but I think I can be of assistance. Will you allow me to aid you."

Eox - Orphys - Ministry of Truth - Second Floor - Room 207 Mendev raises a brow and leans his chin down in a tilt as Ms. Trux says she was also from Absalom Station. As she offers him to go ghoul Mendev looks wistfully into the distant. To live forever... an eternity, to see, learn.... and search. At thelast his brows furrow and sadness momentarily is displayed. But then he shakes his head. Not quite yet... I feel I still need the pressure of time. But thank you for the kind offer. Mendev looks to T'aro and winks. Mendev listens when Waneda speaks. Registration number... He looked around for Aja or Grix. If they had found something like that in the asterioid, they were the ones that would be able to search through the data they had recovered. He looked down to Tweak and wondered what he could do if he gave the ysoki they stuff they had gathered in their investigation. Mendev looks to Matsu and shrug nod thing when the soldier nods at Mendev. The bounty hunters ponders on this. The other option was to find what type of ship created those footprints on the asteroid and then bounce them with every ship that may have come into Orphys in the past few days. I could be way too many. Weak lead... but better. Mendev looks to Ciandria as she offers to help. He gave a lopsided smile and looked at the others. Ain't going to lie. It's not what we were expecting... But a lead is a lead.... if we find smoke, maybe we can find the fire. Alright Ms. Trux, "She's never let me down..." is what Chisk'isk said, so I think we'll go with your instincts on this one. Mendev then get closer to Ciandria, grins. If you are a Starfinder like Ms. Trux here, then Starfinder business is your business. We'd welcome the help for sure. Mendev approaches T'aro who'd been quiet of late. I've got a good feeling about this. Then he looks to Vette. We can call this guy and find out if he is home. Maybe we can save on travel time. In the meantime... Tweak, Aja had given Grix a record of all our data we gathered from the asteroid. In particular there was a picture of ship clamp marks. If you can look into the infosphere and narrow down the ship type that might be helpful. In the meantime... I didn't hear Grix mention about a registration, but maybe you can take a gander through those files and turn something up?

Tweak When Mendev calls out his name, Tweak hopped up from where he was sitting in the corner and quickly came over next to human. Among the things Grix handed him before she left was a datapad. When Mendev mentioned the data gathered from the asteroid, Tweak pulled out the datapad he got from Grix and lifted it up as an indication he had what the Envoy was talking about. When Mendev mentioned a picture of the ship clamp marks, he immediately started looking for them. Before finding the picture, Mendev also asked about finding the ship's registration. Tweak was exciting to having a job that he could do. While he specialized on working in engineering, he had also picked up skills working on computers. There was a little bit of excitement in his voice, which made the pitch just a tad bit higher than normal when he replied, "On it captain."

Orphys Metropolitan Carriage Station to Bareknuckle Way, Eox, 6/7/317 As you take your leave of Ms. Trux to investigate the missing person on Bareknuckle Way, Tweak begins his search of the Eoxian infosphere to find a match for the landing gear prints from the Cultist base. His search bounces back an almost instantaneous result, and before you've all even had a chance to strap into Ciandria's hover car, he can see that prints were made by an Eoxian-designed ship. In particular, it was a Sepulcher class medium explorer, either manufactured by Blackwind's shipyards or by the secret shipyards of the Corpsefleet, which copy Eoxian designs. Ciandria guides the hovercar out into the sparse traffic of this district and down a long and rundown looking street toward the neighborhood known as the Splice. As you enter this new neighborhood, you begin to notice things that put you on alert for danger. There are burned out cars and armed gangs of necrovites and ghouls loitering on corners and giving you cold stares as you pass. In the passing buildings of dingy, black brick, you begin to see broken windows, and windows fitted with bars to keep out intruders. The surfaces of the buildings are increasingly covered by graffiti: slogans in the Eoxian language like "Undeath is Forever," "Real flesh tastes best," and "I stand with Lord Fatal." Here and there, you see stickers plastered on windows or doors or cars sporting the Corpsefleet insignia. At last, you pull up to Bareknuckle Way, a narrow alley off a secondary street. It looks like the hover car would be a tight squeeze and with the dead end, you might not be able to turn around. There are a few shops in the alley with bright neon signs in Eoxian. You see a few dark forms moving around down the way. * * * OOGM The alley will give you barely two feet of clearance on either side. You can get out of the vehicle with this much clearance, but it would be difficult and slow going (more so for Vette, less so for Tweak). You also may leave your vehicle on the secondary road and walk down Bareknuckle Way.

Ms Trux As they leave, Matsu gives Ms Trux the barest nod of acknowledgment. The sooner they are out of her presence, the better as far as he's concerned.

In the Car As the car traverses the strees of Eox, Matsu is again hit by the strangeness of the thoughts he cannot sense. To take his mind off it he asks Tweak about the things they have found. "Do you have any idea how common those ships are?" As they move he comments on the sticker." Looks like furtile hunting groups for the conscriptors. If that's what has happened to our fellow's girl." When they get to the alleyway, he stop. Perhaps we should park outside, with the car ready to go? Once everyone is agreed either way, he pulls one of his heavy cannons from the boot and readies it. "We may be going to talk, but this should mean we don't get eaten on the way in."

Ciandria The drive over from Ms. Trux's office was not long but it was quite informative. The woman used her four arms to operate several functions at once. Two on the steering and maneuvering controls and another lighting controls. Ciandria shined headlights of the hovercar into the dead end before she turned and parked on the main roadway. When the Kasathan woman stepped out of the vehicle she began to scan the streets and alleys. She was concerned that the people in this neighborhood might see them as potential marks or victims. The woman drew her blaster and checked the weapon before she holstered it once again. Then she drew a long survival knife from somewhere and checked it before sheathing the weapon. "Doesn't hurt to let'em know you're not an easy mark."   Perception check Dice Perception: 1d20+11 (5)+11 Total = 16
