With all due respect I would like to humbly point out that three of the four characters are working through something together and pressuring people to post out of sequence to the events that are transpiring breaks the story element of our game in favour of speed. If we are supposed to be on a 2 day posting rate then we are still within that timeline for moving along. I would rather wait for a good post that adds to the story than rush people into short posts. (combat excluded as there is only so much you could do in 6 seconds and short posts are necessary)

So please have patience while we all get thoroughly hooked on this game and figure out our own posting schedules. (And ones initial character concept often changes into something more interesting as they begin to understand and learn about their character)

I really do want to see what happens next and cannot wait but will force myself to do so for the sake of a good story and hope enough people feel the same way. *hops off soap box* Thank you.

You'll have plenty of time to develop the story when the time comes.

Not every post should be pristine, some have to be "Okay, let's move on." posts for sure.

While I do agree that the story has to eventually move forward, this is the beginning of the story, where everyone (both players and their characters) are trying to ease into the adventure. Plus, it kinda feels weird for someone to be cowering in fear to suddenly ignoring that fear for something else entirely.

The pace will pick up as the adventure goes further in.
