Alright, yesterday was a day of many long weird conversations for me - roommate will be staying so I'm not freaking out about finances as much, student loans should be going through so I can afford to take my library up on an offer of extra hours, which means I can drop my extra job. (Even though it pays better, food service is grueling and fuggs up my schedule something fierce.) So we're on track for me to hopefully have more free time and less anxiety, so long as my roommate doesn't do anything horrifying in the near future.

Thank you for bearing with me during this, I know I was going to start us up last week - it's been a long week. Everyone still excited and invested? Any last-minute questions?

So how's it going?

Oof, yes! I am still here, hammering out IRL details - gave my notice at cafe job, but now I'm doing the extra library hours AND the cafe until I'm off the schedule there, and my loans needed extra last minute paperwork. Also signed a fresh lease with roommate - despite some conflicts and reservations - so we had to meet with the new landlady to discuss that as well. (Brightside, more time with cats and wayyy less financial anxiety!)

I have the first post I want to drop, but I just haven't been confident enough to make the thread! Mostly I'm just nervous that I'm never going to be stable enough to run a campaign, or do anything else in life requiring time and attention, and I'll end up disappointing everyone, and.... SIGH.

This week for certain sure - if I haven't posted before Friday, then I am dead or the internet has exploded.

Hah, it's okay, it's more excitement than anxiety I think. It's just, this is the first time I've been able to line up so much potential stability - been trying to drag myself out of homelessness and poverty and possibly back to school for...ten years? Depending how you count it?

There's a whole different skillset to stability, and tracking consistent weeks and things is part of that. Which is part of the reason this site is important to me - I think it levels that skill, you know?
