I'll write it up later today but what I am envisioning for Philbin is simply that he has been in Raven's Rock for a week or so perhaps, spending all his time in the tavern, at the card tables, recouping his losses, ever so slowly. Turns out the cardsmiths in Raven's Rock are craftier than the halfling is used to.

I think I just caught up with all the posts so far!

I kind of liked TheBog's idea of how we meet up - if we go with that, I'm sure you could fit my story in easily:
My character is arriving to Raven's Rock via ship to escape a former life - an is offered a job onboard prior to docking - and this job can be tailored to whatever makes sense storywise for us bumping our swords (or in this case, daggers) and forming ye olde D&D group.

Also, was there a day you would like character sheets up by? I should have mine completed by days end tomorrow.

A ranged rogue would be pretty cool, since we have the big brutish thug type in Garr, and Rashele is essentially an "artful dodger" style rogue (with a twist). Then again, I love dwarves with crossbows...
