"I hope you're happy," he said with disdain in his voice. "There was no reason to do that. You just had to start a fight for no reason. We didn't even hear what he wanted."

"I think the threat in his tone is more than enough reason to not sit around and wait, though a better reason is the elemental colossi that surround us on all sides. Anyways the thing we fought was by no means a good being. Lastly... I have no idea why I did what I did. I just saw him and something in my head started screaming to take him out, though it wasn't till he said that part about ruling the land that it happened. I don't know it just felt right. I have always trusted my gut before and I saw no reason to question it now. Lastly this conversation can continue in a few minutes I have something I must do first."
As Frask finishes speaking he beckons Aja over and then begins the same mind switch to Aja, true mind switch to Enemy body.mediation that he started the conflict with. As this is happening Calah goes to where Frask's old body lies and begins stripping it of everything, including the manacles and fetters.

Not too long after the battle, though most of the elementals remain still one, a hulking elemental of earth, begins to walk towards the group. It's slow lumbering footsteps still shake the ground as it steps, but not so fearsome as when it was charging.
Of course, as the creature rounds the wall of iron something else happens. It begins to shrink. When it finally stands in front of you, it is not a hulking elemental of earth, but a rather dirty halfling. "Thank you so much for doing that. That guy didn't wait long enough for me to tell him I wasn't an elemental at all when he cast that domination spell on me. I've been stuck like that for days." [Humility]
Humility looks at the little figure and then stoops down to pick him up and smother him in a hug. "Poor little one. But how on earth did you get trapped in that shape to begin with?" She kisses the top of his head. "Where are you parents? If you have been here for days they must be worried sick." She looks around at her companions, a desperate look in her eyes "We have to find them!" From within her pouch, Sin issues forth a "Meow" and sticks out his head. Absent mindedly Humility reaches down to stroke it while settling the surprised halfling on her other hip. Last edited by aerondor; Feb 7th, 2014 at 06:34 PM. |

As Frask finishes his mind jumping gymnastics he looks up to find a new being in their group. "Why hello sir, how are you this fine morning?" The voice issuing forth from the mouth of the summoner is no longer his own but instead mimics that of the body Frask had previously been in, seemingly the only physical attribute that went with him as he changed forms.

The halfling doesn't object to the kiss from Humility, but her lips do come away covered in dirt.
"Couldn't say where my parents are Miss, I imagine they're where I left them, but it's been months since I showed up here on the island. As for you're other question, I can turn into things, so long as I play nice nice with nature. It's usually fun, but the last time didn't turn out so well." |

Elizabeth scampers over and kneels down. "Well hel-oh! This is no child, you are a halfling, aren't you? Mi'lady, do you remember the spring festival, when that caravan of halfling tricksters would come around and do all those lovely shows?" With a giggle, the maid took her cloak and began to wipe the dirt from the newcomer. "Tell me, do you have a name? Oh, and can you do any other tricks like that?"
Laura half-nodded to her attendant, her attention more on a different task. Walking over to Frask, in his new body, the woman roughly grabbed one arm and pulled him over to her. "Listen, and listen well....I do not know what you did, and I accept that we may be stuck together, but if you ever get us nearly killed again..." Her eyes were filled with a mix of confusion, anger, and exhaustion, like a woman who was near her breaking point. The pepperbox was still in her other hand, shaking a bit as she let go of him, stepping away from the group.

The halfling smiles at Elizabeth, "Jeremy Two-Finger, at your service Milady. I don't know what tricks the halflings did where you came from, but I can do this." he steps back a few paces and moments later you are facing a fully grown grizzly bear.
The bear leans back, attempting to stand, then to dance on his hind legs. He stumbles around for a few seconds before falling sideways making a noise that is confirmed to be the sound of a bear laughing when he transforms back into a halfling moments later where he lies on the ground, giggling goofily. Frask approaches Laurawhen he sees the shaking slow.
"I meant no harm to come upon any of our group here assembled, I saw the man threatening us both subtly with his words and less so with his elementals. I know it doesn't mean much now but I am sorry, I just did not much like the idea of listening to a monster." After he finishes speaking to Laura Frask goes over to the rest of the group. "Good sir halfling, I see you shift forms, do the stories speak true when they say these are the abilities of a druid or are you perhaps some other magic talent?"

[Humility]
"Oh.. I.. sorry..." says Humility, quickly putting down the little halfling. "I just thought.. oh I really am sorry." She flushes red quickly, and starts to chew the end of some of her hair, as one of her hands starts to stroke Sin in an absent minded manner. "How did you get your name? if you don't mind me asking?" she adds, trying to change the topic of conversation. |

"I'm a druid, like I said, play nice nice with nature. As for the name, I made it up, the best stories are never the real ones I say. Course that rings a bit hollow since I've got here, I mean I wouldn't have believed most of the stuff here if I adn't seen it myself."

Shaking his head at Frask's words, he didn't even bother to say anything more. It was obvious that Frask wasn't going to listen and honestly that fight drained him more than he would care to admit. Hands still shaking, Jack continued to take deep breaths to calm himself down. It was so oddly exhilarating - bending time so easily like it was his very own weapon or tool. For a moment, he imagined he could still smell the Metal Titan's charred body and hear the ringing noises as each of his kicks sent vibrations up and down his body. Tentatively squeezing a knee, he wondered just how tough his body had to be to withstand such a force. How much time could have passed...he thought as he bit his lip. It can't be that much right? It can't be...
The sudden argument between Elizabeth and Frask brought him back to the world. Walking up to Laura, Jack gently touched her elbow to get her attention. He hoped she wouldn't mind his reassuring touch. "It's okay now," he said with a soft smile. "I...I'm just as confused as you are right now. And don't tell me you aren't - I can feel it from here," he said with a small laugh. "I just want everything to turn out alright...but I'll need your help. We'll stick together, right?" he said as he awkwardly rubbed the back of his head, not entirely sure how Laura might react. (After hearing Laura's answer) Turning to the others, Jack couldn't help but sigh as he watched Humility fawn over the gnome like it was her child. It was certainly odd, but almost...endearing. Raising an eyebrow, Jack realized that Humility was strangely...maternalistic for someone so young. That's....odd, he thought as he scratched his chin. It's almost like she has had her own children to worry about. Rubbing his hands together, Jack walked to the side and examined the still elementals. "So...are they going to move anytime soon? For that matter...where are we anyway? Or rather...did you get to explore anywhere..." Jack moved his hands through the air as he tried to remember the silly name. "uh...Jeremy? Is there anything else here besides rock, dirt, and sand?"

"I'll be...I'll be fine..." Laura replied, giving Jack a quick soft smile in reply. He was a cute boy, the kind Elizabeth and her would giggle about behind closed doors. But now, she was nearly her mothers age...but of course, that might mean that her mother was...all this finagling with time was not helping her confusion or frustration. To take her mind off of things, she stepped back to the main group and bussied herself futzing around the bandoleer around her chest, finding a powderhorn and a sack of heavy bullets.
"So, this is an island? Does that mean there might be a ship somewhere?" She asked the new druid as she reloaded her gun, her fingers working at the task so quickly it was almost second nature to them.

Humility
"Oh, and Island. That would be nice. I grew up in a fishing village you know. Can't see much of anything from this pit though...." Even as she says it, the lass starts to float upwards. "Oh.." A confused look crosses her face before she adds "That is odd.. but the view from up here is much better...." She proceeds to describe what she can see of the land around the summoning pit the group found itself within. "I wonder how I get down again?" |

"Think heavy thoughts," comments the halfling. "There'll be ships somewhere around. But it's more fun being a whale. Smarter people have another name for big islands like this. Can't remember it though. Course, if you want to take a ship I'm not sure where you'd take it. Nothing out there but the other side of the island."
