Real Name: Mary Ann Miller AKA: Angel. Short for "Fallen Angel"; Lily, the woman who introduced her to the shadows, gave her this nickname and it stuck. Fake SINs: Several. Currently living as Lucy Summers, Australian Matrix consultant. Backup identity as Karen West. Meta: Elf Age: 29 Role: Decker/Face Appearance: Beautiful, and most likely very expensive, outfits, blonde hair styled to the latest fashion, perfectly manicured nails, a graceful figure; Angel is the picture of the corporate businesswoman. She loves to impress and to flaunt her money, and dresses and carries herself accordingly, at least when she can. Her datajack is all internal, with only a tiny port on the back of her neck, concealed by her usually long hair. Angel prefers to conduct her business in the Matrix, and there her persona, in keeping with her monicker, appears as a seductive demoness, with raven black hair and wings. Personality: When in meatspace, Angel is usually cold, professional and aloof. She speaks with the politeness and grace that comes from a refined upbringing. Some people find her a refreshing island of civility in a world of rude criminals, others consider her a stuck up corporate girl playing at being a runner. Then there’s the matrix Angel – the hot riding, reckless thrill seeker that would take on an AAA corp IC just for the kick of it. Angel is hooked on riding the matrix. The harder, hotter and more dangerous the run, the better. To her, the adrenaline surge of a close encounter with a black IC is the ultimate extreme sport. She’d do it for free, the cash is just a bonus. Angel is bisexual, and usually jumps from a fling to another. The only person she has who resembles a steady girlfriend is Lily, her “mentor” in 'running and first fixer. Angel has practiced her English to the point she has no definite accent, while her Sperethiel has a noticeable Irish accent. Finally, Angel considers herself a "clean" runner, mostly focussing on thefts and data retrieval. She doesn't like killing, unless she has no other option, and as such dislikes wetwork, especially when she has to pull the trigger herself. Backstory: Some people are born for success, Mary Ann Miller was literally crafted for it. Her parents, a mid-level executive in the London branch of Transys Neuronet and a successful model and actress from Dublin, spent a good deal of their considerable wealth to ensure that their unborn child had all the qualities needed to land a place for the family in the corporation’s upper management. With such expectations, Mary was raised with everything she could wish for, and received the best education her parents could afford. Showing a remarkable interest in computer science, by the age of 22 she was already a young and promising matrix security officer in Transys Neuronet. Over time, however, Mary became more and more obsessed with the matrix. She was growing restless, intolerant of her parents’ attempts to control her life, which started to feel more and more like a cage. Only when jacked into her deck she felt truly free and alive. It was then that she had her first escapades into the shadows. Fending off decker after decker, Mary had become interested in their lifestyle. She contacted one of her previous “enemies”, a woman who went by Lily, and she set her up with her first runs. Mary loved them. Nothing in her old, boring and controlled life compared to the thrill of plunging into the depths of the matrix armed only with her wits and her deck, knowing that her life was on the line – often literally. She would have probably kept on with her dual life, if a young executive hadn’t taken interest in her. The man proposed her, and Mary’s family pressured her into accepting – after all, that was exactly what they had planned for her all along. Faced with the prospect of becoming a trophy wife and baby factory for a man she didn’t like the least, Mary decided to finally jump the fence once and for all. After digging up all the dirt she could find on her fiancée, she disappeared into the shadows. As soon as possible, Mary had a trustworthy plastic surgeon give her a completely different appearance and body, hoping it would help in fooling any Transys Neuronet agent looking for her. As of today, they don't seem to have caught up with her fake identity, something that's helped by the fact Angel regularly takes jobs from one of their Johnsons, and never directly works against them. Name: Jackson Hiakune AKA: Override Meta: Elf (Variant: Nocturna) Age: 77, looks to be about early 30s Role/Class: Technomancer Description: Override is short for an Elf, being closer to the average Human height and a slight build. He grows his black hair long, which he usually keeps in a high ponytail and tucked in his cap. Being Nocturna, he is covered in a fine layer of hair, that looks black but is really violet in color, he dyes it regularly in intricate patterns in white. Both of his ears are pierced, with earrings going from the lobe all the way to the tip, as well as the septum of his nose. His clothes and jacket are of the standard black variety finished with a black newsboy cap, and wears a grinning skull face mask on run. He generally avoids going out in the day, but if he must, he takes care to wear a hood and his mask to keep the sun from flaring his allergy up. Personality: Override has a hackers general disregard for privacy, with a strong belief that information should be free and available to everyone; but also the same hacker need to see how it works and how to make it better. He is the kind of guy who can't resist an encrypted file, needs to know whats in it. When dealing with meat, he tends to be awkward, being close to full blown sociopathism; ie doesn't really understand how to empathize with others, and how his actions may have caused pain to others. While he doesn't completely understand others feelings, he can be loyal to a fault to those that have accepted him. He generally means well in his dealings, things just don't always go the way he thought they would. He is rarely serious, and always involved in some kind of prank or practical joke, usually involving your electronics... Background: Overrides early life was nothing extraordinary. He grew up in the outskirts of Seattle where his family had setup in an Elven enclade. He faced some ostracism for being a Nocturna, mainly because his bioclock was more suited to the night life than most others. His parents worked multiple jobs to make ends meet, leaving Override to fend for himself during his free time; this resulted in a love of the Matrix, in any shape or form. It also led to adolescent brushes with law, mainly for virtual vandalism; ie hacking signs and ads, vending machines and the like. When he was old enough to direct his own life, he attended technical school; where he studied electronics and weapons. It was also here where he had his Awakening, while working on a smartgun upgrade, there was a massive power surge that flew through the building. The surge killed hundreds of students and faculty, as well as injuring many more. Override was one of the latter, being thrown across the room and knocked unconscious; he awoke two weeks later in the ICU, to the sound of the commlink chatter of the nurses down the hall. Fearful at first, he quickly fell in love with the new freedom his Technomancer abilities gave him. He was able to secure some contract work for Renraku Computer, mainly through the abilities of a sprite he cobbled together. While working for them for about 2 years off and on, Override was able to program backdoors and trojans secretly in all sorts of devices he worked on. It wasn't until he released the data to a buddy to post, that Renraku caught on. They had a team snatch him up, and locked him away for 25 years as payment for his shenanigans. He survived in prison by learning to forge privilege documents, and fiddling with inmate accounts to win favors and protection. Prison was by no means comfortable, but life is easier when everyone wants some help from you... Released finally at the age of 70, Override has spent the last 5 years working as a PI, bounty hunting, basically anything he can find, some of his jobs have brought him in contact with city officials and other upper crust types. He occasionally works side jobs for the Yakuza, having made a few friends with members while locked up by Renraku. After his release, Jackpoint reached out, and offered him a low level membership, in return for the paydata he released about Renraku vulnerabilities before his incarceration. Being a criminal doesn't make his life easy, Override operates under a fake SIN, and keeps another in reserve for the mad dash. He keeps his criminal SIN suppressed as much as possible, and still doesn't know if Renraku knows of his Technomancy or not. All rules and equipment were pulled from SR5, Run & Gun, Run Faster, and Data Trails. Any feedback would be awesome, as this is the 2nd or 3rd character I've ever made for Shadowrun! Don't have an electronic sheet yet, trying to find one I like and will work for me, as I didn't see one in the options here. I have it all handwritten out atm. So, decided upon concept for character. Since we need an app for it, I am planning a B&E Magician. To extend that, I am also highly considering a Falconine Shapeshifter as my metatype. (Snowy Owl specifically as it is native to the area and is both seen at night and during the day. Recon flavor purposes)
Sound good overall? I'd focus on Magic, Int, and Agi with healthy pops into Locksmith, Perception, Assensing, and Sneaking.

I think I'll be double checking what I've bought, and maybe adjusting some priorities. I might switch my attributes for resources, if I can pull it off. I still have 280000Y to spend. and I'm running out of ideas.

I switched my Atts and resources, I still have over 100K left.
Might buy more SIN's just in case, and more weapon ID's, and maybe some bone lacing, or dermal plating.
