That being said. I don’t like the guy. He seems like a colossal (literally and figuratively) dickbag. Claims he doesn’t use gear despite being the size of a small car. I’ve also heard he’s a pain in the ass to work with. Dude thinks he’s a credible actor, but all he does is play himself. Much like Kevin Hart for that matter. Jack Black even now that I’m in that vein. It’s just like… "shut up dude we get it. You’re zany." I’ve heard Jack Black is pretty nice, so he gets a pass and Kevin Hart is an eagles fan so he gets a lifetime pass for being a bit annoying, but the rock… nah. He sucks. ![]() -edit- They are super fun together though. Gotta admit that.

LOL!
As I do not know the Rock personally I couldn't comment, although I would like to invite him round for tea (food bill would be crippling!), Then, I find most hollywood actors seem to be so far up their arses that I don't really feel I could connect with any of them. Except Henry Cavill, that guy is Legendary!

Yes, most but not all. I’ve heard some good things regarding Keanu Reeves and Mark Wahlberg. But then I have to wonder if that’s just good PR work.

Dwayne has boasted about firing people. If his acting ability matched his ego, he’d be buried in Oscars.

I'd like to meet Chuck Norris, Jackie Chan and Keanu Reeves. Doubt most the rest are good.
But I found out the four action stars who never use a double. Jakie, Donnie yen, Tom Cruise (yes surprised me) and #1 Bruce Lee. Bet people wish he had. As he hit hard...lol

For years I've heard nothing but good. Seen fan vids of how he acts towards people. Nothing bad. So if you could meet him he likes comedy and motorcycles.

I’d love to have a credible celebrity encounter if only to give me something cool to talk about.
![]() But to just shake Keanu’s hand and tell him how awesome he is… man. You know he’d smile that Keanu smile at you and everything would be right with the world. ![]()

I've met a few celebrities but the stories are so niche so they don't make the rotations often.
Patrick Stewart is the biggest one I've met. We shared an elevator at Dragon Con once. He looked absolutely exhausted and I just nodded at him, he nodded back, and I got off on the poor people floors XD Paul Reubens (PeeWee) was a regular at my dad's restaurant when I was a kid so I met him several times and have many autographs. Only celebrities I've closely interacted with were Alton Brown, Ming Tsai, and Larry Thomas (the soup Nazi from Seinfeld). Alton Brown was a treasure. Loved all his crew, loved the fans, and was super chill with me and the other workers. Tsai was very reserved and kept to himself with the staff but was warm with the fans. Thomas was super nice to us and a raging ass to his crew. Which is almost worse because he knows how to behave but just chooses not to with them.

Since we are nae dropping celebrity encounters...
I met Tony Slattery once. Who? I hear you ask! I ask myself the same thing... One real celeb I had the pleasure of actually meeting was the crazy Steve Irwin, crocodile hunter RIP He really was as nuts as he seemed.

The only famous person I met and got an autograph of is Frank Deux. Who's that you ask. It's the real person Bloodsport was made about. Found out he can't do the brick thing. And he's a jujitsu guy. Which means MMA style grapple not the guy that can kick and whatnot. That's done in the movie cause at the time it was the popular fighting style. You know all showy.
Anyway he didn't seem like a good guy. More of a I'm above everyone type. So it was disappointing. That's the only famous person I've met.

Watched looper the other day, mainly because it had a few actors I really like. It’s an interesting idea, sadly with a below average script, elevated by good performances. I particularly like Jeff Daniels in the, his affability laced with menace, was great to watch. I wish he had been in the movie more.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt as the lead, is a good choice. He’s let down by the script at times, as I don’t think it earned that ending for him. And then there was Bruce Willis. It’s not a bad performance by any means. However I feel he looked ill in a few scenes, and I definitely suspect his his role and speaking lines were cut down. Also I’m surprised they got away with casting a much younger actress to play his wife. The worst performance, and I hate to say it, is by the kid. He probably did the best he could, but I actively disliked him. Not to the point where I was rooting for Bruce Willis to shoot him.

No action but a must watch is Breakfast Club. Also, you’re missing Die Hard, First Blood, and Lethal Weapon.
