Hey, welcome back. How was your vacation?

Your absence gave everyone a chance to heal up. I sure hope there aren't any monsters around the corner ;-)

Pretty good, thanks. The cruise ship was pretty much eating and sleeping. Alaska had some good views, but was mostly cold and wet.

Calling alaska cold and wet is like calling the sahara warm and dry :-p

Indeed. Some parts felt like Skyrim though, which I guess is cool.

So if I'm understanding right, there's a forest to one side of the narrows, and cliffs to the other side. So is it possible to sneak through the forest part, while still having a view of the main path, and the cliffs above?

I think you are right, I mis read thinking the narrows could not be approached within a mile , that's the terrain after the narrows. I will slightly alter my game post.

To the right of the trail is the mountain cliffs, nearly a hundred feet high in most places.
To the left of the trail is a thick forest.
About 3/4ths the way along, there is a huge piece of the mountain that broke off, falling into the forest near the edge. making the trail just barely wide enough for the wagons to go through.

The forest is rather thick, you could sneak through it, but if you're more than 5d20+10 (as little as 15 feet away in some places, as far as 110 feet away in others) feet away you wont be able to see the trail.

And is it possible it still move through the forest in the area where the mountain broke off, or does the mountain debris block all of it? Meaning the only way to pass is on the trail.

You can move around the broken off piece of the mountain.
It follows the trail for about 150 feet, and extends nearly 200 feet into the forest.

Alright, so I guess we'll move through the forest, while trying to keep an eye on the trail and the cliffs for any possible ambushers.

Worse comes to worse I'll blow of a part of the mountain and bring it down on all of us.

No problem. Have fun with all that. Well, the concert and friend at least. Don't know how fun school and work are for you.

So, I'm considering using (or at least trying out) Roll20 for our next battle.
Everyone okay with that?
