Quite honestly not even sure what you are talking about. If its about things like magic items and "slots" then you can only have one item per slot. If you're talking like things in the ready versus things in your pack, that's another issue. And in fact that's probably the only distinction I'd have. Things "On your belt, in the side pockets of your pack.in the ready" would be move actions to retrieve where as things in your pack wouldn't be readily available in a combat scenario (but if it comes up I'll come up with something). The biggest thing about having things "in the ready" would be that they could be Stolen (as per the combat maneuver) and Sundered. But yeah. I'm not particularly worried about mechanics like that.

I find the "Actions in Combat" table (and really this whole page in general) to be immensely useful. Retrieving a stored item is normally a move action that provokes attacks of opportunity. What it doesn't specify there, which robotbear rightly points out, is that you can't use the "retrieve a stored item" action for the backpack. Gotta piece that together elsewhere, and even then it's not entirely helpful and clear other than it says it for certain things (like the bandolier) and you can common sense reason a bandolier is more accessible than a backpack.
I'd say it's up to the DM, but it seems like the Adventurer's Sash would make things readily available, so long as you didn't have them secured (then it's a move action to open and another move to retrieve). Man, I've stayed up way too long, but just as I was getting to bed some excellent lines popped into my head for my post tomorrow that I had to write down. Ok, here goes first rolls for 8 Cure Light Wounds potions (DC 6):
Oh, also, would it be possible for us to have a separate dice-rolling thread? I like to roll before I post, as I sometimes like to alter my roleplay based on how well I roll (within the believable limits of character, of course). For instance, if I were rolling diplomacy and rolled quite terribly my character might stammer, or perhaps make some slight unintended insult that the other character might pick out. Also, nothing feels crappier than spending a long time crafting a post (the most ominous intimidating speech, for example) only to find out you rolled a 1. |

Yeah. I'll make such a place. Also: that craft roll of 20 made that particular Cure Light Wounds potion at +2 CL (so it heals 1d8+4). Fun fact!
EDIT: Dude. That rolling place is so cool. So cool. Last edited by robotbear; Apr 17th, 2013 at 06:03 PM. |

Made a slight change to my equipment. Used pretty much all of my leftover gold to switch out my longbow for a composite longbow with a +1 strength bonus and grabbed a couple trade-able items.
And changed the sword name, cause awesome.

Ok, will use the rolling thread as much as possible.
What I've done in another thread is made the roll first then edited the post.

That's usually what I do. But since I'll probably be rolling a lot (got more than one guy to roll for!) I'll probably use the roll thread myself. You're free to do either way.

Very, very sorry. Friend going through some stuff, hence my cut-off mid-crafting. I'll finish up crafting alchemical items in the new übercool rollin' thread, and hopefully still have the presence of mind to post.
Awesome about the bonus to the one craft check! By the way, I'm giving that super-healing potion to Jace as a reward for saving me on the road, and he'll get 3 of the normal ones besides (though in game I will likely ask him to distribute some once we party up). Benjamin needs a bit less healing, because of... well, that discovery he honed by experimenting on that khan in his background story. You'll see it in action at some point I'm sure. |

Ok, all crafted up. Mind if I take the remaining 21.66gp in alchemical ingredients for future crafting (which will be much less rolling, due to both temporal and budgetary constraints)?
Edit: make that 36.66... decided studded leather didn't really make sense for the character Edit Edit: 31.66, forgot about a place to put my knives! Bought a bandolier and a spring-loaded wrist sheath Last edited by Thamewolf; Apr 18th, 2013 at 01:11 AM. |

Thanks for the tip, I tried a couple of ties to fix it. I think it was partly because I was following a tip to check out someone else's code for it, and copied too much....

*Groans*
OK, I think it is all done, save one question I shot off to robotbear. Man, the encumbrance Sucks! *chuckles* I am already right at the limit to keep my dex bonus, and I am slower than normal. Id have to shave off So much to get past that problem! I wish I could figure out how others managed such great stats! |

Hey Dhomal, you forgot your +2 bonus to a stat for being human! That could be quite handy I'm sure. If you want some suggestions on how to use it I could PM you if you'd like. Otherwise apply it and you too can become a bit more awesome.
