Yea, he's the best I can do I guess. It's harder than I thought to find a pic of a spear-wielding black man that doesn't look like Shaka Zulu.

I noticed that in my search, as well.

If there's an actor or real-life person you feel looks how you picture, that is always an easy grab. I can photoshop as necessary as well for little things like adding a weapon or changing the hair a little.

Also I should mention that I could always make a character using the Dragon Age Origins engine however you want; I've made a lot of custom NPCs in the past that way (I have quite a few mods for that game installed).

I don't mean to be picky, but I picture Rego with a spear in hand. It's because of the leg, you see. He needs a walking stick, and the spear can double for that somewhat. Still, I thank you for thinking about it!

Not a problem, that only took me a couple of seconds anyway. I'll keep on the lookout... also, note that I can recolor any character you find to be dark-skinned if you want.

So I must admit, I am loving this game already. I like the characters, the formatting, the whole shebang. And to be honest I am cool with people asking as many questions as they like, so don't feel rushed even though Maz is kinda rushing it.

I have modeled his personality somewhat off of the Riddick character from I recommend that film. However, I do not acknowledge Chronicles of Riddick or whatever the new one is calledPitch Black. So he is going to be short spoken, abrasive, and a little bit more than a little bit scary.

I'm going to play him to the hilt, so that might mean putting some pretty terrible things in a post, if at any time someone feels uncomfortable with the degree of nastiness I get into let me know. I can tone it down if I have to.

N.B. I haven't even started getting into Maz's real bread in butter. Everyone get excited for indiscriminate murder and torture!

Lol, I love the multi-hued Apexes. He'll be getting Skilled (Stealth) in the future, so that chameleon-like coloration is quite appropriate.

Thanks, Davide, I appreciate it. My posts might not come as quickly as they could without the image editing and hunting, but I think it makes reading through the thread more enjoyable.

Geldar, I don't mind editing in the portrait for you if you're from your phone. Wouldn't want you holding off on an RP opportunity for being worried about formatting.

2nd, heh I can add limbs or whatever really as necessary.

Great game so far! My first pbp, and I really like the time and space to do a well-thought out role-playing aspect (at least I'm hoping my posts always come across as being well-thought out lol).
