Lord Hulrun takes a 5 foot step back from his attackers and casts a spell. Vallak, Ithuriel and Calathes are engaging Hulrun. (Calathes at range)
Dice Damage dealt - DC16 Will to take half:
Roll your save at the start of your turn to see if you take half damage. All the heroes are in range except for Calathes. DC16 Will Kandro's movement back is not far enough to escape from Alphonse, Elric and Abaddon. Abaddon and Alphonse are flanking. They may all take an attack of opportunity. Once those are complete, I will finish the bad guy's initiative. Last edited by GMBres; Feb 18th, 2014 at 10:15 PM. |

Abaddon's axe slices down the front of Kandro's body and it splits down the middle. The "skin-suit" slides to the ground with a wet, mucous-coated sound. The being that was inhabiting the body looks like a large snake that's been skinned. The tip opened up with four lips shaped like a star. The creature convulses and then lies completely still on the ground.

Dice Elric fort save:
Dice Al fort save:
Al and Elric will move to within striking distance of the remaining foe. Al moves toward Lord Hulrun and balls his fist up and with a mighty strike swings upward into the maw of the once ruler of the land. Elric shortly behind Al takes his spear and thrusts it downward towards Hulrun's leg attempting to sever it from his body. OOC If close enough will attack. If not will just position selves to attack next round.

![]() The skin of Lord Hulrun slides off like a woman's slip. There before you is the hideous worm that was previously inhabiting the body. It trembles from the damage sustained and collapses on the ground beside you. A massive pool of blood forms in the area in front of the doors. Last edited by GMBres; Feb 22nd, 2014 at 10:43 PM. |

Abaddon will waive Calathes over. He will then check the gruesome corpses for any treasure they may have. He will then drag the two snakes off to the side so they do not hinder entry into the garrison.
I figured they had been possessed by some demon, but what kind of beast are these? At least they die like any other creature. Dice will save:

There is a large iron key, the length of Abaddon's elbow to wrist, on a chain around the neck of Lord Hulrun. The bodies were nearly naked when you encountered them. The clothing they had been wearing when they died could not cover them in their bloated and engorged conditions.
While standing outside the front doors, the rising sun's rays are diluted by the increasing amount of black clouds. As you look to the sky, you can tell the black clouds are forming a vortex right above the Gray Garrison. ![]() Last edited by GMBres; Feb 23rd, 2014 at 07:21 PM. |

I am ready. This sky looks ominous, we should get inside quickly.
Abaddon will take the large key and hand it to Calathas. |

Elric walks up to Al and casts a spell and again bits of Al begin to reform that were once lost or shredded.
Calathes, I believe I have heard that story before the one told, if I am correct, by the Prophet Sisko. I don't think I know the details as you, but the story rings familiar to me. When everyone is ready Al and I are good to continue on ahead and from the looks of it we need to hurry. Something foul appears to be heading this way. Once all are ready Al and Elric will attempt to sneak as we move ahead. Also I know that neither Al nor Elric are at full health but don't know where we are at. I am going to post my stat blocks in the character section and update them there going forward.
